Glitter Beach Barbie!

Welcome back to B(forBarbie)listed where yesterday, while writing my HSOTD post about Beach Blast Barbie, my brain got hit with the sparkly memory of another Beach Barbie Goddess: Glitter Beach Barbie! Yes, this is my second Barbie HSOTD in a row, but you can never honor Barbie of the 80s and 90s enough. Besides, today is the start of Pride Month, and Glitter Beach Barbie IS a 90s gay icon (in my head)!

In the 80s, Beach Blast Barbie ruled the sand with her beauty and magical color-changing ponytail. And in the 90s, Glitter Beach Barbie inherited BBB’s beach beauty crown and made people have to slather SPF all over their eyeballs to keep them from burning over the gorgeous sight of her glittery gorgeousness. Unlike Beach Blast Barbie, Glitter Beach Barbie didn’t have playsets or anything. She didn’t need all that shit. All she needed was her glitter bikini and her “magic lotion,” which was pretty much just glittery stripper lotion, which is pretty much the saliva of the angels. Glitter Beach Barbie could out-glitter the damn sea!

And if that doesn’t prove to you that Glitter Beach Barbie is a perfect Pride Month HSOTD, I present to you, Glitter Beach Ken:

Even Magic Cock Ken probably looked at Glitter Beach Ken and said, “Too much, girl.” But GBK is not too much. He’s just right. If he was real and went to the beach, he’d show up the ocean because everyone there would turn their chairs around to gaze at him instead. Although, beach pollution would skyrocket since everyone would literally lose their shit at his glittery hotness.

On that note, Happy Pride from Glitter Beach Ken’s Glitter Crop Top!
