Kevin Spacey Has Booked A Role In A Movie About An Accused Pedophile

Oh yes, cancel culture is definitely a thing that exists. Because look, Kevin Spacey will work again. Even though Kevin Spacey has been hit with several sexual assault allegations and lawsuits, he was just cast in a movie. Those lawsuits include one from Anthony Rapp, who is suing Kevin Spacey for allegedly assaulting him at a party in the late-80s when Anthony was just 14 years old and Kevin was 26. And now after those allegations and more, Kevin has seemingly stepped back into acting by joining a movie about *checks notes* an accused pedophile. Welp… I mean… I guess, play what you know.

In 2017, Kevin was accused of sexual misconduct by at least 20 men who were involved at the Old Vic London Theater where Kevin was the artistic director. The next year, Kevin was charged with indecent assault in Massachusetts but after pleading not guilty, the charge was dropped when the alleged victim withdrew the lawsuit. In Los Angeles, two sexual assault claims were investigated but one was past the statute of limitations, and in the other one, the victim died. Then last year was the New York lawsuit against Kevin from Anthony and the anonymous accuser who a federal judge recently ruled must come forward publicly if the case is to continue.

Kevin Spacey’s last movie was 2018’s Billionaire Boys Club which tanked at the box office earning $2.7 million. So clearly he’s a winning name to hire! Page Six says that Kevin now got himself a small gig in a movie with Vanessa Redgrave. L’uomo che disegnò Dio (The Man Who Drew God) is a low-budget indie flick directed by Vanessa’s husband, Franco Nero, who is also going to star in the movie. The Filmitalia website says that the movie is about:

“The rise and fall of a blind artist who has the extraordinary gift of making true-to-life portraits just by listening to human voices.”

Page Six adds that Kevin will play a detective investigating pedophile accusations, which turn out to be false, against the blind artist, played by Franco. The audacity of these bitches:

Kevin Spacey, whose career was derailed after he was accused of sexual harassment, is returning to the big screen – in a film about a wrongly accused pedophile.

Spacey’s character in the movie, called L’uomo che disegnò Dio or “The Man who drew God,” will investigate accusations of pedophilia against a blind artist.

Franco confirmed with ABC News that Kevin was cast in the movie, telling them:

“I’m very happy Kevin agreed to participate in my film. I consider him a great actor and I can’t wait to start the movie.”

Gotta say, it’s pretty ballsy of Kevin to come out of the gate with a movie about an accused pedophile. That’s like James Franco returning to movie-making with a Harvey Weinstein biopic.
