Farrah Abraham Is One Of Nine Women Accusing A Northern California Mayor Of Sexual Assault

On Friday, Windsor, California Mayor and winemaker Dominic Foppoli (who sounds like an angry Muppet training under the Swedish Chef) resigned from office amid nine accusations of sexual assault. One of these accusations comes from former Teen Mom star, Farrah Abraham, now 29.

Dominic (38 or 39, depending on the source), was the subject of a long San Francisco Chronicle piece about six weeks ago, which detailed four of the accusers’ experiences and is a romp through awfulness not for the faint of heart.

According to The Wrap:

“Teen Mom” star Farrah Abraham and eight other women have accused Northern California mayor Dominic Foppoli of sexual assault, and he has subsequently resigned.

The 38-year-old mayor of Windsor, California, announced his resignation Friday to the citizens of the quiet town following over a month of public outcry. The statement denies all allegations against him.

“It is with a heavy heart that I am resigning, effective today. I have always and will always maintain that I did not engage in any non-consensual sexual acts with any woman,” the statement reads.

As far as Farrah’s accusation, Dominic stated, “I recently learned that a woman in Palm Beach, Florida, is accusing me of non-consensual acts while I was visiting there in March of this year,” and claimed she made her allegations after she learned of the April 8 Chronicle story. Dominic said he had no doubt she was doing this in an attempt to “leverage the situation to her advantage.

Well, of course he’s going to say this, as Farrah is low-hanging fruit among his accusers, and has a messy past, but her accusation isn’t in question here. It’s one of many, and one from someone famous enough to bring more attention to this small-town petri dish of gropey, abusive fuckery.

The Wrap continues:

Abraham accuses Foppoli of sexually assaulting her in March while he was visiting Palm Beach. According to the Chronicle, she contacted police six days before (emphasis mine) an investigation detailing some of the other women’s accusations was published. Those accusations include forced oral copulation and rape.

The reality star’s lawyer, Spencer Kuvin, says his client has already substantiated her claims with hard evidence.

“This is not a ‘he said, she said’ situation. She has physical proof,” Kuvin said. “We believe it is in felony territory.”

As it happens, and you can’t make this shit up, Dominic was a wannabe-reality TV star himself and appeared in a Bravo pilot in 2012 for a show about dating. So it’s an extra layer of satisfying that a reality person and award-winning mother that she is, has helped to take him down.

Dominic also tried a last-ditch effort to save his job by calling upon former Trump lobbyist Robert Stryk to help draw attention from his alleged crimes and instead attack one of his accusers. Dominic is pure class!

“He should have done the right thing a long time ago,” town council member Debora Fudge said of Foppoli’s resignation.

Foppoli and Abraham have both denied requests for further comment.

Here is a clip of Dominic from last month, maintaining his innocence:

Fast-forward to his resignation:

And a comment from one of his accusers:

Twitter is doing what it does and is taking shots at him here and here. Congrats to Windsor for securing his resignation, and let’s hope he doesn’t try to resurrect his failed career in reality TV.
