Paulina Porizkova Gushed About New Boyfriend Aaron Sorkin

April 28, 2021 / Posted by:

I half-watched the Oscars on Sunday night, and the only time I got excited was when I spotted Paulina Porizkova sitting beside her new BF, Aaron Sorkin. I yelled, “Paulina Porizkova!”, to which my boyfriend responded, “Who?” I didn’t bother answering, because we both know he didn’t care. But yeah, this past weekend we learned that Paulina and Aaron have been an item for a few months. Then they made their couple premiere at the Oscars. Then a smitten Paulina posted that the room was very cold that night, but Aaron kept her warm. Then today she posted about how headlines calling the two an “age-appropriate couple” are actually pretty ageist. So please sit your asses down, the media!

Here’s her post about the Oscars:

Today 56-year-old Paulina posted pictures of four articles celebrating her and 59-year-old Aaron’s “age-appropriate love.” Paulina says those headlines are patronizing and ageist:

What wrong with this? Is it a pat on my head for having snagged a man four years my senior, or applause for him that he conceded to dating a woman four years his junior?

This has not, by any means, been my first date; only my first public date, and the repercussions are stunning to me. Sure, in private I managed to date men who congratulated themselves on finding me attractive despite my age- while being five to ten years older than I. But this surprise in the media at my date dating ME is a little disheartening. Talk about ageism.

Meanwhile, he is evolved enough to consider himself lucky. Now, THAT’s sexy.

Paulina proceeded to go hog-wild on the hashtags (what is this, an episode of Netflix’s The Circle?), which included #fuckageism, #sexyhasnoexpirationdate, #betweenjloandbettywhite, and #gratefultohaveadate. Then 63-year-old Andie MacDowell popped into the comments and wrote this:

Amen
Who came up with these expectations!
I dated a plump, not that interesting man that was my contemporary … he said to me “you look good for your age”
then at dinner he asked me if I still wore a bikini
I was so sweet to him I answered him honestly I said I could I preferred a one piece…. I should’ve said … how does your belly look hanging over a speedo.
But I’m too nice

Hmmm… he was her contemporary? Name names, Andie!

A couple of weeks ago Paulina also called out the ageists in an interview with Vogue Czechoslovakia (yes, that’s actually the name of the magazine, they still haven’t got the memo about the Czech Republic). Paulina said people have a problem with a 50-something woman showing off her tits and ass. But those same people praised her for it in her twenties. She blames “unevolved” men and the male gaze.

This is all to say: watch your ass, Aaron Sorkin. Paulina doesn’t play.
