Paulina Porizkova Talked Sex At 56 And Posed In Lingerie For Vogue Czechoslovakia

This week is Paulina Porizkova Sexy Week! It’s OK if you forgot. I, too, got distracted by the anniversary of the Titanic sinking. Paulina is out there talking about sex, confidence, and ageism. She also flashed her bits on the cover of Vogue Czechoslovakia. And, hey, a 56-year-old supermodel is still a supermodel. She looks hot as hell.

Paulina posted the photo to Instagram, writing that the Vogue Czechoslovakia cover comes exactly 40 years after her first (German) Vogue cover at the age of 16. Paulina was born in Czechoslovakia, but her parents fled to Sweden when she was just a toddler. She finally joined them when she was eight, after years of battling the Czech communist government (this has zero relevance to the article, I just think it’s interesting).

Paulina writes, “for you peeps who have a problem with the lack of coverup- you can peruse the pages fully dressed.” Heyo! Back in February Paulina posted a similarly sexy picture, and wrote about when she was young she was celebrated for showing off her body, but in her fifties, she is “reviled for it”:

Earlier this week Paulina spoke with Yahoo! Entertainment about sex and getting older:

“What I have found is that sex gets better with age, which is something that I was kind of terrified about for a while because I kept hearing all these horror stories about how you go through menopause and then you lose your sex drive and you don’t want to have sex anymore.”

“I had been wandering the desert for a little while and I was really afraid that somehow that part of my life was going to disappear or go away or was no longer something that I got to do,” she continued. “And it turns out that it only gets better because I know my body so much better.”

Hmmm… is “sex gets better with age” code for “sex is better when it’s not with my late husband Ric Ocasek“? Is this Paulina’s subtle way of slagging Ric off after he left her out of his will for “abandoning” him? Or am I just on the lookout for pettiness?

Paulina also says that when she has sex now she’s “not there to please the guy, I’m there to be pleased” (and yeah, this has gotta be about Ric, who she married when she was just nineteen):

“But the last time around I wanted to seduce the guy; I wanted to be seen as hot. It was all very self-conscious, and that self-consciousness is just not there anymore,” she said. “And sex is a lot more fun when you’re not self-conscious and when you’re just enthusiastic, I love that.”

Paulina adds that her body doesn’t “bounce like it used to” since she’s in her fifties and gave birth to two kids. But she says, “it’s got other beauties to it, such as control.”

Speaking of control, try to control your boners while watching this vid of a scantily clad Paulina playing her piano during the Vogue shoot:
