Sheryl Underwood Claims Sharon Osbourne Never Reached Out To Her After Their On-Air Fight, But Sharon Says Otherwise

Sharon Osbourne burned her talk show host gig at The Talk to the absolute ground after getting into a heated match with co-host Sheryl Underwood on an episode while defending Piers Morgans. Sharon initially apologized for being racially insensitive, but it still triggered an investigation at CBS. This led to a hiatus, which led to more racist accusations against Sharon from former co-hosts Leah Remini and Holly Robinso Peete. Sharon ultimately got shit-canned. And even though Sharon is off The Talk, it seems that she and Sheryl are keeping the drama alive. Because now Page Six reports that Sheryl has claimed that Sharon still hasn’t reached out to her even though their on-air fight triggered this whole thing. Sharon called bullshit and brought out some alleged receipts. Good to see that The View is no longer the messiest daytime talk show!

On the most recent episode of Sheryl’s podcast The World According To Sheryl, Sheryl was asked if Sharon has reached out to her after leaving the show, and Sheryl replied, “No!” But Sharon says otherwise. Sharon sent alleged text message screenshots to The Daily Mail and they show that Sharon apologized to Sheryl. But Sheryl left Sharon on read and never responded to any of them. Here’s a piece of the texts:

“Sheryl, My heart is heavy and I’m deeply saddened by the events that transpired on Wednesday… I don’t want to lose my true friend over this. Im sorry for telling you to fuck off during break, I’m sorry for accusing you of fake crying while we were live on air and I’m sorry for losing my temper with you… I felt shocked, scared and saddened by what felt like was a blind-sided attack. You know me. You know how I’ve always had your back. We’ve outlasted everyone on this show and that’s because we’ve always been a team and had each other’s backs… I consider you a genuine friend. If you want to talk on the phone over the weekend I’m here. Once again from the bottom of my heart I’m sorry. Is there anything You need from me or that I can do to help you heal? Love and respect always — Sharon.”

“Hi Sheryl. I know you’re taking space and I don’t want to disrespect that. I’m just reaching out because I want you [to] know I’m thinking about you. If you are willing, can we talk before Wednesday? Big kiss.”

“Sheryl I am thinking about you. Hope you are well. Sending my love.”

Sharon also explained to The Daily Mail that she spoke to Sheryl in person:

“I not only sent these messages to Sheryl but I apologized to her in person in her dressing room. Why are you saying I never apologized, Sheryl? What are you trying to do to me? Why are you trying to destroy my reputation? Just be honest. Tell me.”

A Page Six source sides with Sharon:

A March 15 Page Six exclusive appears to confirm Osbourne’s version of events, with a source telling us “she texted [Underwood] a very detailed, emotional and heartfelt apology on Friday” the 12th. “It was very personal and Sheryl did not get back to her.”

I have to say, I think The View does passive-aggression a lot better. Ignoring each other’s messages and speaking to the press is child’s play. I mean, when one of The View co-hosts gets pissed at Meghan McCain and want revenge, they simply send a secret message to her hairstylist, saying, “Tell her the middle turd braid in her hair looks amazing.”
