CBS Denies Reports That Sharon Osbourne Received $10 Million To Leave “The Talk”

Won’t you please hold some space in your heart for Sharon Osbourne? She is “bitterly disappointed,” according to Us Weekly. Last week, CBS parted ways with Sharon, the last original host of The Talk, after deciding that her on-air freak-out over her defense of Piers Morgandid not align with [their] values for a respectful workplace.” You would think that the $5 million to $10 million consolation prize that she reportedly received would have sweetened her tea, but the lady’s still bitter. And possibly with good reason. She might not have gotten those millions of sugar cubes after all. According to Yahoo! Business, despite what was previously reported to Page Six, “CBS is completely denying this claim. They say it is untrue.” CBS maintains that Sharon “did this on her own accord.” Poor lady. She must be all puckered up inside.

What will Sharon do for money now? How will she live?! Such are the trials and tribulations of going ride-or-die for Piers Fucking Morgan. And, according to Us Weekly, bearing witness to Sharon’s anguish is tearing her supportive family apart.

At a crossroads. Sharon Osbourne is not happy that she’s having to fight for her career following the controversy that led to her exit from The Talk.

“Sharon is bitterly disappointed at how it all played out,” a source exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands now. “Her whole career has been based on not holding back, speaking her mind and championing free speech — so to be classified or perceived as a bigot or a racist is a sickening scenario and an utter nightmare for her, especially since she insists up and down it’s all a pack of lies and that’s the last thing she is.”

The insider adds, “Her family is supporting her too and it tears them all apart seeing her suffer like this. They think it’s a big stitch-up and she’s been hung out to dry for something she hasn’t done or believed in.”

It’s a blow, that’s for sure. But Sharon’s not giving up without a fight. She’s surrounded herself “with her many allies, most of whom are telling her she’ll ‘bounce back 10 times stronger.’” So watch out, world — Coming Soon: Sharon vs. Godzilla AND King Kong!
