Open Post: Hosted By Krispy Kreme’s Free Daily Donuts For Anyone Who’s Gotten The COVID-19 Vaccine 

Krispy Kreme decided to give a sugar-drenched reward to anyone in the U.S. who has filled themselves up with the coronavirus vaccine in the U.S.. So, goodbye, coronavirus, hello, diabetes! Krispy Kreme has launched a promotion to give thanks to those who have been vaccinated against coronavirus and have helped close a vector of disease in a pandemic. Tt’s time to get a free donut every day for a year! So you’ll be mostly safe from COVID-19 but your nerves won’t be safe from waiting in a long ass line to get that free donut.

CNN says that starting yesterday, Krispy Kreme will give COVID-19 vaccinated people a free donut every day until the end of the year. That sound you just heard was Homer Simpson busting ass to the nearest coronavirus vaccination site. To get a free glazed donut, you must present a vaccination card at any Krispy Kreme location in the U.S. A glazed hole each day? Sounds like Only Fans content to me!

But don’t worry, the Jessica Biels and Anwar Hadids of the world, who aren’t going to get vaccinated, still get a reward for some reason. Krisy Kreme is giving away a free glazed donut and a medium coffee to anyone every Monday from March 29 to May 24:

“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme chief marketing officer.

However, the company acknowledges that not everyone will get the vaccine.

“We understand that choosing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine is a highly personal decision,” the news release says.

Those who decide not to get the Covid-19 vaccine can still get a free glazed doughnut and a medium coffee on Mondays from March 29 to May 24.

This is part of Krispy Kreme’s “Be Sweet” campaign meant to “inspire joy and kindness.” But I just know this is going to get Krispy Kreme employees yelled at when they deny someone their tenth free donut of the day. Krispy Kreme is also giving their own employee paid time off to get the vaccine, and will deliver free donuts to vaccine workers and volunteers:

The retailer is also offering its employees an incentive to get the vaccine with four hours of paid time off to get vaccinated.

In addition, Krispy Kreme will support health care workers and volunteers who are helping administer vaccines, delivering free doughnuts to select vaccination centers throughout the country in the coming weeks.

These folks sure are handing out a lot of free donuts in an economic crisis… Do we know how old are those donuts? Are we sure this isn’t just because there’s no Off switch on their NYC glaze waterfall and donuts have been getting their holes dipped in white cream and then going untouched; building up for months?
