Kim Kardashian Is Shocked By How Much Her And Her Sister’s Voices Changed During The Run Of “KUWTK”

Because even among the darkness of life there is sometimes a light, Keeping Up The Mental Rot With The Kardashians will finally be coming to an end after 20 seasons and almost fifteen years on air. Of course, the Koven has signed a deal with Hulu and will absolutely be back to terrorize the citizens with their product placement and superficial problems, but that doesn’t mean they can’t reflect on all the damage they’ve caused society milestones. Kim Kardashian talked to Good Morning Vogue about the changes the family went through and she said their vocal fry has been the biggest change. Me Googling a picture of Kylie Jenner in 2010 and Kylie Jenner in 2021: “Um… you sure about that?”

Vulture says that Kim spoke with Jonathan Van Meter about the end of an era. She talked about how she and her family were gifted with their original mics from working on the series and how she thought of her crew as family. Kim added that the “hardest part of letting go of the show” was working with the crew every day. You mean it wasn’t the money?

Kim also talked about how much the family changed over the years. A lot of things happened: marriages, babies, drama, new faces, new butt implants, etc…. But it’s the sisters’ voice-changes over a decade and a half which shocked Kim the most:

“That’s the biggest mystery to me and my sisters. We are blown away. It’s the thing that has us absolutely blown away. We have no idea what happened to our voices. We have completely different voices.”

“Your voice deepens,” Van Meter suggested. “It feels more commanding.” Kim agreed, “All right, I like that.”

For reference, here’s Kim’s voice during S1:

But really, their voices?! Oh, Kim, wait until you see a before and after picture of all of your faces from 15 years ago! You’ll be flabbergasted. Shit, you’ll be shocked when you see a before and after of Khloé Kardashian from today and tomorrow!
