Gillian Anderson Took Back Ex Peter Morgan After He Rebounded With Jemima Khan

So. Gillian Anderson and The Crown creator Peter Morgan broke up in mid-December after dating for four years. Then, last month, it was revealed that Peter, 57, had quickly moved on to his friend, 47-year-old TV producer/heiress Jemima Goldsmith, which allegedly left Gillian, 52, “bemused.” You may remember Jemima as Jemima Khan, ex-wife of former cricket star/current Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, and ex-girlfriend to Hugh Grant and Russell Brand. Jemima’s very rich, bitch. And now you can add “shocked and confused” to her descriptors, cuz Peter has abruptly left her to get back together with Gillian Anderson. That dirty dog!

Sources say Jemima and Peter enjoyed an “intense romance” that allegedly started in the New Year. And during the last few weeks, they were in a “legit support bubble” during London’s third lockdown. But now, after just a month, Peter has ditched Jemima and joined Gillian in Prague, where she’s shooting a film. One of Jemima’s friends told The Daily Mail:

‘Peter pursued her, rather than the other way around. He persuaded her that they would be great together, but has now gone back to Gillian.

‘This has happened in the past week. She is pretty knocked for six about it.

‘People are appalled by his behaviour. It seems really rather unstable. He had said he was serious about Jemima and she was certainly serious about the romance with him.’

Friends also say that Jemima had to put up with a lot of shit-talk about breaking “girl code”, even though she and Gillian were not close. Apparently, the unwritten law of girl code (which I do, in fact, subscribe to) means a lot to Jemima. A source says that when Jemima dated Arki Busson in 2007, she got the OK from his ex, Elle Macpherson. According to this friend, Jemima “isn’t the sort of person to breach things lightly.”

Apparently, friends are annoyed that the media is focusing on Jemima and Gillian’s actions, when, really, the focus should be on Peter:

‘So far the narrative has been all about the women but do not forget it was Morgan who caused all this emotional damage.

‘He has careered from one to the other and now back again with no regard for the damage he causes and the lack of courage he has shown in seeking only his needs.’

According to sources, Peter was telling everyone that Jemima was “the one.” As for Gillian, last month she told InStyle that she actually prefers being alone. Hmmm, did this hot bitch only take Peter back to kick him to the curb? As a long-con revenge plot for moving on so quickly? Or perhaps the Royals are paying her off to ruin Peter’s reputation! Either way, I’m here for these dramatics.
