At 36, Avril Lavigne still looks like a ghost that haunts the Hot Topic in an abandoned mall. And at 33, Bella Thorne’s ex Mod Sun looks exhausted from trying so hard. And according to People, these two elder-youths might be a couple. Avril and Mod recently worked together on the single Flames which appears on Mod’s album Internet Killed The Rockstar which came out last month. And last week, as they were photographed leaving BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, TMZ noticed that Mod had a new tattoo of Avril’s name on the back of his neck with the “A” in the style of the anarchy symbol because nothing says anarchy quite like two wealthy people in their 30s waiting at the valet stand at an expensive West Hollywood steakhouse. Maybe not under normal circumstances, but in the middle of a pandemic, what could be more anarchic?! If this past year has taught us anything it’s that The Rule of Law is a complete and utter fantasy.

The “Stay Away” singer, 33, and the pop-rock star, 36, were photographed leaving BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood on Thursday, sparking rumors that the two were dating.
During the outing, TMZ spotted some interesting new ink on Mod Sun — Lavigne’s name tattooed across the back of his neck.
The duo recently released their collaboration “Flames” last month and have spent a lot of time together. A source tells PEOPLE that Mod Sun and Lavigne have been working in the studio “nearly every day for over two months” on her album that’s set to come out later this year.
The source also added that Mod Sun’s new ink is likely real because he would “never get a temporary tattoo.”

DM says that Mod and Avril met through their mutual friend Machine Gun Kelly. You could make a mix-tape perfect for a haunted mall out of Avril’s exes which includes Ryan Cabrera, Jagwar Twin Pete Jonas, and her two ex-husbands Nickelback‘s Chad Kroeger and Sum 41’s Deryck Whibley. There was also a random billionaire in there which is technically the most punk thing Avril has ever done. And there’s probably already a sex tape of Mod’s exes Bella Thorne and Tana Mongeau, with who he was in a throuple with, that could suddenly start playing on all the unsold TVs at the Sharper Image when the Hot Topic ghost floats by.
Now of course, given past accusations of clout chasing leveled against him, it’s entirely possible that Mod’s new tattoo is nothing more than a marketing stunt. Mod has a lot of pics of him and Avril on his Instagram but none of them are candid, they’re all posed. I guess you could call them both posers, a fun word I just made up. You know, for people who pose!
However, according to People, Avril and Mod have been ignoring social distancing recommendations together for a while now. They spent Thanksgiving together as documented by a TikTok user who was also a guest.

Don’t worry, I’m sure they all took rapid COVID-19 tests before inviting random people over for an enormous Thanksgiving feast while those of us who were still pretending personal responsibility might actually get us out of this fucking global disaster, maybe bought a little rotisserie chicken as a treat and called it Thursday. Shit, I might as well go out and get an A is for Anarchy but also Avril Lavigne tattoo on my neck too since nothing means anything anymore.
