Armie Hammer Got Dropped By His Talent Agency And Publicist

Within a day after Evan Rachel Wood and several other women came out and said that Marilyn Manson is a mime makeup-covered wad of abusive smegma, he was dropped by his record label, booking agent, and two TV shows he was in. Well, Armie Hammer’s fall hasn’t been as quick but he has still medaled in The Alleged Abusive Asshole Olympics. Because Armie is out of an agent and a publicist today. “Wait, Armie Hammer had a publicist?!” thought everyone who has watched Armie Hammer make his PR nightmare even worse. Because of the shitty way he’s handled this, you’d think scat was Armie’s main kink.
About a month after Instagram user House of Effie and other women accused Armie of being mentally, emotionally, and physically abusive and ignoring boundaries/safe words, The Hollywood Reporter said last night that his agency William Morris Endeavor dropped him. And not only did WME wash their hands of Armie, but so has his publicist:
Hammer losing his agency is the latest development of a career in freefall and comes amid controversy over graphic messages he allegedly sent several women over social media.
Sources tell THR that his personal publicist has also stepped away.
The good news for Armie is that it’s not like he needs an agent anyway. Bitch has been shit-canned (or in Hollywood PR talk “exited the project“) from the movie Shotgun Wedding starring Jennifer Lopez and the Paramount+ series The Offer, which is about the making of The Godfather movie. But studios may be scrambling to find CGI artistes who can quickly replace Armie with a CGI figure of the late great Christopher Plummer because he’s got a few movies that have already finished filming. The perfectly-named Crisis, starring Armie, Gary Oldman, and Evangeline Lilly is supposed to come out on February 26. Death on the Nile, starring Armie, Kenneth Branaugh, and Gal Gadot is scheduled for this September. And he’s got a small role in Taika Waititi’s Next Goal Wins, which finished filming last year and doesn’t have a release date yet.
The classic Friday night dump about the news of Armie getting dropped by his agent came a day after Variety claimed in an article that WME was not considering firing him as a client (Variety has since taken that part out of their article). After Variety made that came, House of Effie posted alleged DMs from 2017 where Armie tells her that he’s got some blackmail material on his agent:
@WME each and every agent etc, feels untouchable. The gall to tell clients their transgressions!! No doubt, all agents/higher up can blackmail each other. That’s why #brandonliebman is still working at WME. 🤢company full of vile people. #wme🚽🗑 🚫🚨#ArmieHammer pic.twitter.com/YnT5QaKQvO

And then Armie got dumped.
Armie has denied the abuse allegations against him, but his estranged wife Elizabeth Chambers said in a statement that she supports all victims of abuse. Armie losing an agent and a publicist tells me that his career is probably fucked. And it also tells me that a Ronan Farrow-like exposé, filled with even more career-destroying shit, might be on its way. So something tells me that there’s going to be another big Lysol shortage because everybody’s going to run out to buy a can to cleanse their melting eyeballs with.
