The Ex-Partner Of Pamela Anderson’s New Husband Claims She “Homewrecked” Their Family
Did you read yesterday’s story about 53-year-old Pamela Anderson getting married to her 40-year-old bodyguard Dan Hayhurst and think, “Hmm, this will definitely not get messy since Pamela’s marriages are never messy.” Well, it’s gotten messy. Dan’s ex, a 42-year-old woman named Carey, claims that she found out about the marriage when we all did. And Carey adds that when Dan got with Pamela, he was still with her. Also, Dan and Carey were raising three children together. Well, Pamela’s latest marital union is definitely going to last until the end of time, but just in case, Carey should practice slamming the front door as hard as possible when alleged cheating slut Dan comes crawling back.
Carey tells The Sun (via The New York Post) that she and Dan met on a dating app five years ago and she eventually moved into his home in the town of Squamish, which is north of Vancouver. Dan has two young children from a previous relationship and Carey has a 21-year-old daughter, so they became a family of five. Things were happy until Dan took a job with Pamela Anderson.
This apparently is not The Bodyguard: Canada because Dan is a handyman and was hired to work on Pamela’s house, not work as the newest recruit of the Vallery Irons Protection agency. Dan took on a contract to renovate Pamela’s home in fall 2019 and would complain to Carey about how “crazy,” difficult, and demanding Pam was. He reportedly referred to Pamela as “The Dragon.” My class used to call my 10th-grade French teacher Mrs. Cochrane that but looking back, we 100% deserved her wrath.
During quarantine, Dan started spending the night at Pamela’s home in the town of Ladysmith on Vancouver Island. And that’s when Carey got suspicious and confronted Dan:
“Covid happened and it just seemed to happen overnight… Dan would stay at her house and not come home, and here I am taking care of the kids… At first, he denied it when I confronted him but then, finally, I asked him, “Are you sleeping with Pam?” He said, “All I’m going to say is I’ve crossed the line.” …At first, he said, “I want you to stay in our house. I don’t want you to go. I just need to figure things out.” …Later he apologized to me. He said, “Carey, I love you. I don’t know what is going on right now. I’m not in my right head right now. I’m not in a good space.”… He asked me to give him time to figure things out so I just let him do what he was doing… And there was no turning back by then. I had met Pam and had gone to dinner with her. My daughter used to work for her. I couldn’t believe it.”
And that led to Dan moving out, which led to Pamela making Dan her fifth husband on Christmas Eve. Carey didn’t find out until the news came out and she decided to talk to The Sun so that people know this isn’t some romantic quarantine tale:
“This is not the lockdown love story which is being portrayed, it’s all a facade.
I decided to speak out because I want people to know that my almost five-year relationship, with three children involved, ended because of the affair Pam and Dan started while he was still with me… It wasn’t this romance that happened overnight. He worked with her for over six months before any of that happened… He wasn’t her body-guard then, he is a handyman, she hired him to work on her house… We were all totally blindsided by this, it’s been so hard for us. And it’s not just me and the kids, lots of people have been hurt by them. Dan has lost friendships and business relationships because of this.”
Carey didn’t say where Dan’s children are now, but I’m guessing they’re living with him and their new stepmother. Carey also dragged Pam and Dan’s relationship, saying it’s more like Dukes of Hazzard than The Bodyguard:
“He’s smashed her car three times now, and her boat twice. It’s a walking mess. They sit on their property drinking — it’s like the Dan and Pam show.”
But in the end, Carey says that she never wanted to get married to Dan and that he and Pamela are made for each other:
“No one was invited to the wedding… He texted his mum the night before the ceremony and he said, “I’m getting married tomorrow, keep this on the DL and don’t say anything.” And she didn’t reply. Like she obviously respected it because it’s her son, but she wasn’t invited… He can be very manipulative so in a sense they are made for each other, but I don’t see this lasting. I’d be very surprised.”
Dan and I never got married because I don’t ever want to. To me it’s nothing, it’s a piece of paper and it causes problems when you want to get out of it.”
As a reminder, Pamela’s last husband (though technically never legally because they didn’t sign a paper and it was just a “bizarre lunch”) Jon Peters also reportedly dumped his fiancé to get with Pamela for their 12-day love affair. So like… what is Pamela’s coochie made out of? She got that magic WAP! It must be that vegan diet!–Alicia Silverstone was right!
