Lindsay Lohan Encouraged A Fan To Come Out To Her Parents, But Now Wants The Video Taken Down
Lindsay Lohan is a famous actress who is going to be in a thriller movie with Mickey Rourke soon, and then it’s next step: Oscar nominations. But before she gets “Oscar-Nominated Actress”-money for her role in Cursed, she’s been making coins by filming Cameos for people. She charges $400 per Cameo which is honestly more than a studio would pay her at this point, so good for her. And lucky for us, right now it’s half-off! Pandemic prices! But one such Cameo, which is a video of LiLo heartfully encouraging a woman to come out to her parents on her own, has turned into Lindsay asking the woman to take the video down because it’s private. I mean, what? If anything she should be trying to get that weird as Hell “dirty little stinker” video scrubbed from the internet. Why focus on this?
HuffPost says that a TikTok user named Alana said she requested that Lindsay Lohan come out to her parents for her via Cameo. Instead, Lindsay sent Alana a genuinely sweet video encouraging her to speak to her parents herself and get “power and strength” from it.
“I know that you are about to take a very big step in telling your parents who you truly are and what you want them to accept of you. And I think that you should do it yourself. I think that coming from you, you’ll feel a lot of power and strength. It’s important that you are who you truly are and that you love yourself and that you can live by that and tell your parents that. I promise you they will understand.”

Alana later posted that she had spoken to her parents and they “took it well,” saying she was “feeling very relieved.” Aw! Good for her! …But wait, things are about to turn left. Re-enter: Lindsay.
After the video went viral and was liked over 136,000 times on TikTok, Variety says that Lindsay sent Alana this private message, asking her to take the video down:
“Hi! Just wanted to ask if you could take the cameo down because it was private for your use only.”
A rep for Cameo said in a statement that the recipient “has a license to share the unedited video.” So Alana can do what she wants, thankyouverymuch. Unclear if Alana will end up deleting the video, but it’s still up currently and it’s already alive online anyhow–it doesn’t matter one way or the other boo-boo.
As for why Lindsay wants the video down, depending on where Lindz is staying these days she may just be trying to cover her bases. She has been linked to Prince Mohammad bin Salman from Saudi Arabia which has strict laws against homosexuality. So maybe that Cameo put LiLo in a tricky position.
But hey, maybe it has nothing to do with any anti-LGBTQ laws. Maybe Lindsay has just been hanging out with her friend Tiffany Trump too long and is now as confused about supporting gay people as Tiffany is.
