Cardi B Spends Lots And Lots Of Money On COVID Tests

January 27, 2021 / Posted by:

Uproxx says that Cardi B took to the internet to let us know that the cost of COVID on artists is actually much steeper than we realize. But sadly for her, not steep enough for us to care about. Womp-womp: Coronavirus tests are expensive! I guess that’s why regular people don’t have Halloween/birthday parties or huge Thanksgivings where people get tested beforehand or during! God, it sucks being a high-paid entertainer! :((((((((((((((((

Coronavirus has obviously had a huge impact on the entertainment industry. Tom Cruise has practically blown a blood vessel trying to keep everybody healthy and up to industry standard, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on precautions and custom studios to finish his Mission: Impossible VII movie. But it’s not just movie-makers, Cardi B has costs of her own.

Cardi B said that she has to be tested “4 times a week” at about $250 each for her work and it’s not just her. Her glam team and management also have to be tested.

This isn’t the first time Cardi’s incurred some COVID expenses, her video for WAP with Megan Thee Stallion spent $100,000 on testing.

Poor Cardi, that is so much money. I guess to cover costs she’ll have to return that $88,000 Birkin she bought or any other bag from her Birkin collection which only increases in value, right? Or maybe she can take back 2-year-old Kulture‘s Birkin instead. Hopefully she hasn’t peed in it yet. Fingers crossed!
