Trey Songz Was Arrested For A Physical Altercation With Police At The Kansas City Chiefs Game

TMZ says that 36-year-old R&B star, Trey Songz, was arrested and brought into custody briefly over an altercation with a cop at a Kansas City Chiefs football game. This man threw a 500-person concert during coronavirus so I’m not surprised that his dumb-ass is still out socializing in the world like normal, but I am shocked he got into a fight in public. But TMZ says that observers say that Trey was not at fault.

There’s a video and it shows Trey at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO yesterday, struggling with an officer and holding him in a headlock. And sources say the cop is the one who started it:

A witness tells us the whole thing started when Trey was being heckled by some fans a few rows behind him and he asked them to chill out. We’re told the officer approached Trey, and without warning, went after him. The witness says Trey was totally caught off guard when the officer got physical, and started to defend himself.

You can hear fans throughout the video shout at the officer, telling him to get off Songz until additional officers arrived. Fans were yelling for the officer to be arrested.

Once backup got there, they were able to separate Trey and the cop … and they put Trey in handcuffs.

Here’s the video:

TMZ adds that Trey allegedly refused to wear a mask and that’s why the cops were eventually called:

A law enforcement source (does TMZ have connections with Kansas law enforcement? Their reach goes outside California?! The fuck!) told TMZ that Trey was arrested for trespassing, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer. He was supposed to be on a 24-hour hold but was released this morning at around 9:00. Trey hasn’t made any real comment, but he did update his Instagram Stories about half an hour ago with a link to promote some song.

Well, you know where you probably won’t get into a fistfight? At home during a pandemic. People should really try it!
