The Cookie Monster Rock!
Either Mother Nature has decided that noted cookiehead Cookie Monster is her favorite Muppet and should exist in nature, or Jim Henson was a secret geode lover who wanted to make a Muppet based on a rock. Because The Daily Mail says a lump of volcano rock that looks like Cookie Monster in the face was found in the Rio Grande do Sul region near Soledade in Brazil. I’m sure that Cookie Monster has some Brazilian fans who have told him to come to Brazil. Well, he’s been there a while, bitch!
The rock, which was found in November, looks like Cookie Monster twins (complete with “ME WANT COOKIE” eyes) when it’s split in half, but when the pieces are put together, it looks like a regular old rock (or like the nutsack of a dehydrated pepaw):

The rock was sent to Mike Bower, who specializes in rocks, in California and he said the rock is an agate, and a very rare one, which could bring in over $10,000:
“I think this is probably the most perfect Cookie Monster out there. I have seen others but here you have it complete (both sides) Lucas Fassari is actually the one who found it. This is very unusual! There are a few famous agates out there: the owl, the scared face… there are many approximate ones but rare to find clear well defined like that.
Prices can be very high. I was proposed over $10,000 by 5 different buyers. Rare.”
If it sells, they should give Cookie Monster a cut. Think of all the cookies he could buy. But I hope Cookie Monster and his rock never meet because Cookie Monster is so hard-up for cookies that he’d mistake that rock for cookies and eat it up. It’d be like eating himself and definitely not in a sexy way.
