Jane Krakowski Might Have Dated The My Pillow Guy Last Year, But They Both Deny It

When I was a kid, the weirdest celebrity rumor I had ever heard was that Estelle Getty was actually 29 years old when she played Sophia on The Golden Girls, and that she was so secretly young and hot, she was Sylvester Stallone’s secret girlfriend during the filming of Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot. If I could go back in time to that Girl Scout sleep over, I would tell myself that none of it is true, but I’d assure myself that that would not be the end of weird celebrity dating rumors in my future. For example, here I am, in 2021, hearing that Jane Krakowski might have been dating My Pillow CEO and friend of Donald Trump, Mike Lindell, in secret, for the better part of last year.

This rumor comes from The Daily Mail, and not where you might assume it came from, which would be some fan fiction site that combines characters from Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Trump supporters. A source says that 59-year-old Mike had a “passionate romance” with 52-year-old Jane for nine months. One source claims that Jane and Mike met while filming a project, and that they’d been friends for years, and the friendship turned romantic. And her friends reportedly had no idea how such a thing happened in the first place due to the fact that Mike Lindell is a “stop the steal” type who believes God hand-picked Donald Trump to be President, and Jane is not.

The source said: “It surprised many of Jane’s friends because she’s such an icon in the gay community, but here she is dating one of Trump’s biggest business backers. I mean he was seen in the West Wing and at Trump rallies and he is probably responsible for half of the revenue of Fox News. We’d always joke that Jane had so much money, couldn’t she afford her own My Pillow?”

Another source wondered why none of her Broadway friends took her aside and pointed out that the My Pillow guy is a major Trump supporter:

According to one former friend: “Jane was a HUGE fan of Obama and her viewpoint, by the nature of her business and the Broadway audience that she plays to (and calls her ‘boys’) certainly speaks democratic.”

So how in the Hell did these two allegedly end up in that way? According to a source, Jane liked Mike’s story of crack-to-Christ-to-pillows. Also, Mike wooed her with gifts.

“He sent flowers to her almost every week and champagne and bottles of different liquor. She said she had known him for about eight years and that they had been friends but then they started a relationship about a year ago. I don’t know exactly what she saw in him but she seemed happy and thought he was a good man.”

According to one friend Krakowski’s new relationship signaled the end of her romance with Lindell. They said, “This summer she started a flirtation with a new guy that she spent loads of time with in the Hamptons so poor Mike was shown the door.”

At least she got some expensive booze out of it, right? Well, not really. One source says that whenever they would fight – which was often – she’d throw out all the stuff he sent her. Then they’d make up, more gifts would show up, and the cycle would continue. But The Daily Mail reached out to Jane for comment on this rumor, and she replied, “I’ve never met the man.” Mike was also contacted for comment, and said, “I have never even heard of Jane Krakowski???

I was on board with the first denial. Because I can relate to not wanting to meet that man. But Mike’s denial is too much. He’s never even heard of Jane Krakowski? Tony-nominated star of Broadway’s Grand Hotel? Elaine from Ally McBeal? JENNA MARONEY?! It’s appropriate the man sells pillows for a living, because he’s dreaming if he thinks anyone is buying that he doesn’t know her.
