Armie Hammer Apologized For Saying The Woman In His Instagram Video Is Miss Cayman
I know. You read that headline about Armie Hammer apologizing and thought, “Finally! Someone on his team forced him to act sorry!” Err, kiiiind of, but not really. Armie Hammer still hasn’t confessed to any of his alleged abuse or cannibal DMs, which he referred to as “bullshit claims”. He just responded to his recent Miss Cayman Island organization controversy. Because beauty pageant > his alleged victims.
Armie has a private Instagram and over the weekend, one of his videos leaked, and it showed a motionless lingerie-clad woman waiting on all fours on Armie’s hotel bed. In the caption, he wrote that it sucked having to be back in the Cayman Islands (oh boo hoo, bitch), but one of the few silver linings was “fucking Ms. Cayman again while I’m down there.” This incensed the Miss Cayman Island Universe Committee, and they said in a statement that the woman on the bed had no affiliation with Miss Cayman Islands, and they were “very disturbed.” They requested that Armie remove all references to their pageant from social media. Yesterday Armie made a public apology that was published in the Cayman Compass newspaper. Armie said (via People):
“I would like to clarify that the person in my video, which was stolen from my private Instagram, is not Miss Cayman.” (According to the Compass, the woman’s face is not visible in the video.)
“I am genuinely sorry for any confusion my foolish attempt at humor may have caused,” he added. “My deep sympathies to Miss Cayman, who I don’t know, and to the entire organization, as I had no intentions of implying she was actually Miss Cayman.”
LOL to Armie being pissed about the video being “stolen” from his Instagram. He uploaded it to a public account. Sure, it was what the kids call a “finsta”, and the account only has 12 followers at the moment, but how much do you wanna bet at least one of those followers was an ex? Dumb, cocky, DUMB.
Meanwhile, the anonymous Instagrammer House of Effie (the first of Armie’s alleged victims to leak the DMs) continues to post (alleged, sigh) screenshots of their correspondence/relationship from hell. She also re-posted a submission from the gossip Instagram account Deux Moi, in which an anonymous tipster claimed to have spotted Armie on Saturday night at a 500-person Cayman cookout event. This person claims that Armie was drinking and chatting with friends like “he didn’t have a care in the world.” House of Effie also posted a screenshot of DMs from another person, who claims Armie is out partying all the time, and he was allegedly “joking around saying some girl is accusing him of rape.” Um, plural, Armie. Girls. Nay. Women. Again: Dumb, cocky, DUMB.
