Kesha Credits Demi Lovato For Her Newfound Love Of Summoning Aliens
I think that when the clock struck 12 midnight on January 1 everyone should have grabbed a stick of sage and burned it all day as to not welcome any foolishness into 2021. And then January 6th came, causing all of the sage in the world to snicker at our fuckery. Well, in the event there’s another planet we can all collectively ruin we’ll need guidance from the original Tik Tok-er Kesha, whose New Year’s resolution is apparently to become the Jeanne Dixon of alien summoning since her latest hobby includes looking beyond the stars to invite E.T. and all of his homies down for some cocktails and conversation. And the idea all started after a talk with “Cashing in on Chaos” Queen Demi Lovato.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight (via Billboard), Kesha spoke about a recent interview she had with Demi during an episode of her podcast Kesha and the Creepies. And man did shit get really creepy when Demi began telling Kesha about how she wants to commune with the unknown by putting out a welcome mat for our friends from galaxies far, far away.
“I loved the conversation we had because… there were a couple books she mentioned and an app she mentioned that I immediately downloaded,” Kesha explained. “… [I told my family,] ‘All I want for Christmas is for us all to meditate and try to channel extraterrestrials.’ And they’re like, ‘OK.'”
“I’m like trying to get all my friends and family into meditating the aliens to us. It’s my new hobby because of Demi Lovato.”
Of course, Demi is 100% on board with Kesha’s new career path because she’s always been about this life. Back in October Demi posted a fascinating photo of a fast-moving object in the sky during a trip to Joshua Tree, CA with Dr. Steven Greer who is the self-appointed foremost authority on Extraterrestrial Intelligence.
Demi also went into further detail on the experience during the podcast, as Kesha was probably on Amazon looking for telescopes so she can swipe left and preview her new friends before summoning them to Earth.
“What happened was we saw this really, really bright light. First of all, this blue orb kept floating in front of us, like 20 or 30 feet away,” the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer said, holding her phone up to the screen to show the luminous orb they saw. “When I would try to walk up to it, it would just hop another 20-30 feet back. So I could never chase it or get to it, but I was trying.”
You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if at the time someone (maybe the same “alien” that Miley Cyrus made eye contact with) was playing a trick on Demi with a gigantic spotlight in the distance as she scurried around on the ground chasing an unexplained light like a kitten hopped up on catnip.
