Hilaria Baldwin’s City Of Birth Has Been Removed From Her CAA Bio And Alec Baldwin Defended Her Again On Instagram

Last week we experienced The Great Conjunction in which the planet Jupiter threw a little shade Saturn’s way, but that little astrological side-show was nothing compared to Page Six busting out the shadiest of “neés” when referring to Alec Baldwin’s wife as Hilaria “(neé Hillary)” Baldwin like she’s making her society debut in the pages of the New York Times wedding announcements. Page Six reports that Alec continues to defend his Shady Dame From Seville against charges that she has been pretending to be Spanish by feigning a Spanish accent and falsely suggesting (or allowing it to be suggested) that she was born in Mallorca instead of in the backseat of a cah pahked on Hahvard yahd.

Page Six says that Alec “snapped” but that’s about as accurate as Hilaria pretending to forget what we English speakers call a cucumber. It’s silly considering that we all know what it looks like when Alec actually snaps. More accurately, what he did was post a generic Mark Twain quote about lies on Instagram then told someone in the comments to “go fuck yourself.” This is not what I’d call Alec “snapping,” this is what I’d call “Tuesday.

Alec Baldwin snapped.

The “30 Rock” star, 62, continued to defend wife Hilaria (neé Hillary) Baldwin on Instagram Monday for faking her Spanish accent and heritage, eventually opting for a cryptic Mark Twain quote to summarize his feelings.

“A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes,” the quote read.

Alec’s followers didn’t agree with the sentiment, as his former-yoga-instructor wife seemingly had been putting on a Spanish facade when in reality she was born and raised in Boston by parents who were also born and raised in Boston.

“Like your wife being Spanish when she lived in Massachusetts her entire life,” one user wrote. “I take it her accent is fake as well? FRAUDS!”

After reading this attack, Alec replied, “Go fuck yourself.”

I hope that commenter then punched themselves in the eye for the full Baldwin Experience. Alec continues to do a piss-poor job of defending Hilaira with his obtuse reasoning. Previously he urged us to “consider the source,” which we have done and deemed it to be highly suspect and curiously bendy. Now Alec’s railing against lies, but whose exactly? CAA, Hilaria’s talent agency, has done their part to stem the tide of lies by removing, (via Page Six), “the contentious detail “Baldwin was born in Mallorca, Spain and raised in Boston, Massachusetts” from the bottom of her bio.” And Page Six continues to stay on her ass with a report that in a November podcast appearance, Hilaria announced that her love for the Spanish fast-fashion brand Zara began “before I was in this country.”

“One of the things that I’m obsessed with right now are Zara knits. Their knit clothes, so cute,” the Boston native gushed during her interview with actress Lisa Edelstein of Netflix’s “The Kominsky Method’’ on Nov. 25.

“And I’ve always been a Zara fan,’’ said Baldwin, adding a Spanish lilt to her last two words.

“It’s, you know, it is a Spanish brand, and so I’ve known about it since, for very, very, very long time before I was in this country. And I’ve always been obsessed with it.”

So here I sit, considering the source, and wondering if some of these lies Alec is talking about aren’t coming from inside la casa. Don’t worry, I can say that. I too have been to Spain!
