Nick Cannon’s Fourth Child Is Here, And Her Name Is Powerful Queen

I know that there’s at least a handful of people who assume there are some crucial words missing from that headline, and that I meant to write that Nick Cannon called his girlfriend Brittany Bell a powerful queen after witnessing her go through all that labor and birth. Which would have been the right thing to do after watching her do all the hard work in giving birth to his fourth child. But Nick and Brittany have named their daughter Powerful Queen.

Brittany confirmed Powerful Queen’s birth on Instagram, with a few pictures posted on Christmas Day of the newest addition to their family. 40-year-old Nick and 30-year-old Brittany have been together off and on for about four years now. They share a 3-year-old son named Golden Cannon. Now they have two children who sound like weapons from a first-person shooter video game. via People magazine:

On Friday, the former Miss Arizona U.S.A. announced on Instagram that she and Cannon welcomed their second child together, a daughter.

“The best gift ever ♥️ we have been surprised with… A GIRL!!!!! Powerful Queen Cannon came this week perfect timing for Christmas. So much more to share. All I can say is that Nick was my rock through the most intense yet empowering natural water birth. It was nothing but POWERFUL Merry Christmas!!!! THANK YOU GOD.”

Brittany didn’t say exactly when Baby Powerful was born, just that she came last week. Which was a pretty close call on the timing. It would have been awkward for Santa if he slid down the chimney on the 24th, and saw Brittany in a wading pool, dilated to 8 centimeters. “Ho ho ho, I’ll…come back later, this looks like it’s about to get messy, and my suit is dry clean only.

Powerful Queen Cannon joins big brother Golden Cannon, as well as her half-brother and half-sister Moroccan and Monroe Cannon, whose mommy is Mariah Carey. According to Brittany, Powerful Queen was born naturally, water birth-style. Actually, Powerful Cannon is an appropriate name here. Pushing a baby out, sans drugs, in a little pool probably produces at least 300x more pressure than a Jacuzzi jet.
