Iggy Azalea Is Glad She Publicly Called Out Playboi Carti For Being A Shitty Dad And Cheater Because Now Things Will “Change For The Better”
While most of us spent our Christmas Eve roasting chestnuts on an open fire (no, none of us did that, unless it’s a sexy euphemism), former rapper Iggy Azalea spent her Christmas Eve roasting Playboy Carti, her ex-boyfriend and the father of her baby, on Twitter for abandoning their child on Christmas and for passing his cheating slut peen to another during her entire pregnancy, among other things. Because of Iggy’s Twitter bashing of Playboi Carti, she trended on Christmas Eve in 2020. Now that’s the real Christmas miracle! But after all that, Iggy now says that she and Carti have talked it out and she’s going to give him a chance to do right by their son.
A couple of months ago, Iggy let everyone know that Carti is in her son’s life. But shit obviously changed. Because on Thursday night, 24-year-old Playboi Carti (born name: Jordan Terrell Carter) released his new album Whole Lotta Red, and 30-year-old Iggy Azalea (born name: Amethyst Amelia Kelly) also saw a whole lotta red on Thursday night and decided to call Carti out for not spending Christmas with their 9-month-old son Onyx Carter. In a series of a million tweets (many of which Iggy deleted), Iggy said that Carti proclaimed his love to her and promised to spend the holiday with her and Onyx, but instead of doing that, he threw a party for his new album and brought the side trick he cheated on Iggy with. Iggy also claimed that trick was Carti’s side piece throughout her pregnancy. via Complex
“Imagine not flying out your family on Christmas but you have the girl you cheated on my my entire pregnancy at your album party and magically me and my son can’t come for Christmas any more?” she wrote in a series of tweets. “TRASH.” She continued, “This man had a whole family vacation to planned 48hrs ago & I hope this message gets to you girl. Although you hid in a whole closet from my house keeper so it’s not like you have any dignity I guess.”
Azalea later said she didn’t decide to post the tweets out of bitterness, writing, “To clarify this man was literally at my house last night telling me he loves me. So this is very much NOT me being bitter, it’s me not ducking with trifling ass shit that happens at the expense of my son.”
She concluded her sting of tweets by writing, “Everything not for the net, but at a certain point when someone just taking advantage like CRAZY airing it out is all you can do. Night.”
In Playboi Carti’s defense, he does have “Playboi” in his rap moniker so he has a reputation as a huge ho to live up to.
Iggy wasn’t done, and when she woke up on Christmas morning, she decided to continue to shit in Carti’s stocking by calling him out some more. According to Iggy, she was all alone when she gave birth to Onyx because Carti was supposed to be with her but instead decided to play PS5 with Lil Uzi Vert in Philadelphia. Iggy said that she had a scheduled C-section so Carti knew the date of his son’s birth. Iggy’s pregnancy was also planned and Carti wanted to be a father, but after Onyx was born, he refused to sign the birth certificate. Iggy continued to have the time because she also did an Instagram Live where she called out Carti’s alleged side piece. Carti’s alleged side piece later denied being his side piece and said that she got with Carti after he told her that he and Iggy were done.
And well, if you’re thinking that Iggy spent all of Jesus’ Birthday trashing her ex as her kid looked at her like, “Are we going to open presents or what?“, she did find time to post a little holiday pic with Onyx. At least, I think that’s Iggy, but if you told me it was really a CGI-generated mash-up of Gwen Stefani and Amber Rose named Gwenber Rofani, I wouldn’t call you a liar:
Playboi Carti never publicly responded to Iggy crowning him Trash Father of the Year, but he did talk to her privately, and while she says she will never take him back, she’s giving him another chance to be in their son’s life:
