Prince William And Duchess Kate Have Been Accused Of Breaking COVID Rules At A Christmas Event

Fresh off from getting shit for their taxpayer-funded train tour during a pandemic and for keeping their faces mask-free during a red carpet photo-op with their entire family, Prince William and Duchess Kate are now getting head shakes and tsk-tsks over breaking one of Britain’s COVID rules. Britain’s COVID rules state that different households can get together but the group can not be made up of more than six humans. And on Sunday night, William, Kate, and their three children (7-year-old Prince George, 5-year-old Prince Charlotte, and 2-year-old Prince Louis) met up with P. Willy’s uncle, Prince Edward, and his wife Sophie, Countess of Wessex and their two children (17-year-old Lady Louise and 13-year-old James, Viscount Severn). Since I have a Ph.D. in math (read: I used a Little Professor once), I know that five plus four equals…. *counts on fingers* NINE, which is more than six, which means that they all broke the rules, which means the dungeon for them all!

Every year, the Royals throw Luminate, which is a Christmas light trail at THE QUEEN’s Sandringham Estate. It’s open to the public and is open this year despite coronavirus. Sandringham Estate is in Norfolk and Norfolk is in Tier 2 of COVID restrictions (while London and other parts of England are in Tier 4), so groups are allowed to walk the trail together as long as their group is no more than six people including children. But someone saw William, who had COVID-19, and Edward’s families walking together and was disgusted at how they all shamelessly took a shit royale on the rules and called them out to The Daily Mail:

“They were clearly breaking Covid rules, in my opinion, because there were nine of them from two separate households. They were obviously all having a fun evening out. You could tell that the royal youngsters were having a great time. But I couldn’t help thinking that it was one rule for them and another for the rest of us. It was really quite blatant.”

The regulations clearly state: “You can see friends and family you do not live with (or do not have a support bubble with) outdoors, in a group of no more than six. This limit of six includes children of any age.” They also say that police can take action against those who meet in larger groups – a fixed penalty notice of £200 for the first offence, doubling for each further offence up to £6,400.

That someone also sold pictures to The Daily Mail of those dirty rules breakers breaking the rules, and Omid Scobie, co-author of Finding Freedom (the book about Prince Hot Ginge and Meghan Markle, which Meghan helped out a little with), brought Harry and Meghan into it, saying that they would’ve been pushed into the town square and tarred and feathered if they pulled this shit. Why do I have a feeling that Omid is going to get an extra basket of overpriced oat milk lattes for the holidays this year?

BUT WAIT! Royal sources say that William and Edward’s families showed up separately, and left separately, but that it was hard to stay apart because of the kids.

“The two families were given separate consecutive slots to visit the trail just before it opened to the general public. They arrived and departed in their own family groups. As anyone with young children will know, there were moments on the 90-minute walk where it was difficult to keep the two family groups apart, particularly at bottlenecks on the trail.”

Oh sure, blame it on the kids, “royal sources“! How despicable! And those aren’t just any children, the future King of England is among them and I doubt Prince George will forget this. When Prince George becomes king in a couple of years after THE QUEEN, Prince Charles, and Prince William do the right thing by stepping aside to make way for a true ruler, his first order of royal business will be forcing The Daily Mail to cough up the “royal sources” from this story and bring them to him. And it will be dramatically revealed that the “royal sources” were William and Kate! But when Prince Daddy and Duchess Mommy are brought before Kid King George, he’ll take one look at the lone hair on his dad’s bare dome and decide that they’ve been punished enough and let them go. A reasonable king, he will be!
