Selena Gomez Has Quit Hillsong Church As New Allegations Of “Inappropriate Sexual Behavior” Among Staff Come Forward

Stop thinking about whatever dumb shit you’re thinking about right now! The only question that should be on everyone’s mind at this moment in time is where will Selena Gomez worship now! Page Six reports that Selena has cut ties with Hillsong Church with sources claiming she feels “disillusioned” by Carl Lentz and his wandering peen. And according to multiple sources, one man’s dick is just the tip (of the iceberg). I have to wonder also if she finally realized that the only reason she and Justin Bieber were only invited to do couples counseling so Carl could check the couch cushions for any loose gold chains and diamonds that might have fallen out during their sessions.

In a shocking turn of events, one that nobody, and I mean NOBODY, much less International Superstar Selena Gomez could have seen coming, the New York Post reports that in an “explosiveBusiness Insider exposé, a number of former church members have leveled accusations of homophobia, racism and the exploitation of church volunteers. And Page Six reports of rampant “inappropriate sexual behavior amongst staff/interns” and accusations of fostering a “culture of silence and fear.” Who would have thunk that a church that, according to Hillsong founder and Selena’s one-time close personal friend Brian Houston, does not affirm a “gay lifestyle and therefore do not “knowingly have actively gay people in positions of leadership,” would knowingly hand fuckbois like pastor Carl the keys to the kingdom. Page Six reports:

Selena Gomez is done with Hillsong Church.

“Selena considers herself a Christian,” the Daily Mail reported, citing sources from Australia’s Daily Telegraph. “She says she has a close relationship with God, and she believes this is not how God wants us to operate, she’s disillusioned.”

Gomez, the former girlfriend of Lentz’s one-time BFF, Justin Bieber, is said to have “adored Carl” at one point in time, but “doesn’t want anything to do with Hillsong anymore.”

“At one stage she adored Carl…,” an insider said. “She, [Hillsong founder] Brian [Houston], his daughter Laura and Justin were a team, really close, she used to hang out with Brian’s daughter-in-law Esther, now she doesn’t want anything to do with Hillsong anymore.”

I guess the advertised homophobia was fine, but she draws the line at Business Insider exposés. In addition to the “traumatizing” treatment and “exploitative work expectations” reported by LGBTQ and non-white church members in the BI exposé, Page Six reports that in 2018, a group of “high level volunteers” sent a letter to Hillsong leadership outlining “verified, widely circulated stories of inappropriate sexual behavior amongst staff/interns,” noting that “Hillsong staffers used the church like a seedy dating service, ‘sleeping around’ with volunteers and asking them to send nude pictures.” And here I thought Carl was just being sloppy when he had his side piece send him nudes to the work computer. Turns out he was just doing what the Good Book (also known as the Hillsong Employee Manual) told him to do.

We’re told that one person employed by the church was asked to step down after it was revealed that, as the letter put it, he had “multiple inappropriate sexual relationships with several female leaders and volunteers and was verbally, emotionally, and according to one woman, physically abusive in his relationships with these women.”

The group claimed that another church member even caught the same employee “having sex” with a church leader.

Meanwhile, the letter accused another male staffer of “not respecting physical and sexual boundaries within dating relationships with female church volunteers,” including having “sex with a 19-20-year-old female team member.”

It’s no wonder Hillsong L.A. has really been fronting lady pastors and people of color on their Instagram this month.

They were all “quick, somebody call central casting and get us some Black ladies with fros, STAT! Tell them this is a spiritual emergency. Selena Has Flown, repeat SELENA HAS FLOWN.
