Elon Musk Has Moved To Texas, But It’s Unclear If Grimes Went With Him

Elon Musk has decided that California is just too much for him, and so he’s moved to Texas. Elon and California had lots of issues over the past year, as they tried to shut down factories to make sure people didn’t die of coronavirus while he reopened them and was on Twitter saying the virus would be gone by April. So he went off to Texas. Meanwhile, the Internet is wondering: Where’s Grimes?

Even before he reopened his factory against California rules, Elon had been calling for an end to the lockdown and pretty much making all the far-right talking points he possibly could. Remember that “red pill” bullshit? California also didn’t let him name his baby something (as) stupid, so he really must have had enough with–as Matthew McConaughey would call it, “the illiberal left”–and he escaped to Texas.

PopCrush says that Elon has moved to Texas but the location of Grimes and baby XÆ A-12 is undetermined. Well, I know that ZsaZsa15 is probably astral projecting to Jayden Smith‘s house and making radical art, but who knows about Grimes. On Tuesday at the Wall Street Journal CEO Council Summit, Elon suggested that California has been “winning” for too long so he’s switching teams because they’re “entitled.” I would mock Elon for the “entitled”-thing because his family used to own an emerald mine in Zambia, but according to his father they were rich and had a rich lifestyle and according to Elon they were poor, so who to believe….. Anyway, Elon said:

“If a team has been winning for too long, they do tend to get a little complacent, a little entitled and then they don’t win the championship anymore. California has been winning for too long.”

Then he talked about how “massive” his operations are:

“First of all, Tesla and SpaceX obviously have massive operations in California. In fact, it’s worth noting that Tesla is the last car company still manufacturing cars in California. SpaceX is the last aerospace company still doing significant manufacturing in California. So. There used to be over a dozen car plants in California. And California used to be the center of aerospace manufacturing! My companies are the last two left… that’s a very important point to make… For myself, yes I have moved to Texas.”

Let me also make an important point–Tesla sold 367,849 cars in all of 2019. Ford sold 1.18 million cars in the third quarter of 2020. When we were all broke and dying from a pandemic, Ford sold more cars in one quarter than Tesla did an entire year.

The Internet soon wondered where Grimes was and she began trending on Twitter. Grimes has made no mention of where she’s living and her recent Twitter activity is just retweets of the video game Cyberpunk 2077. So maybe she’ll move to Texas with Elon or maybe she won’t. But for now she’s probably just chilling with AshKetchum11 in the seventeenth dimension while growing out her unibrow and playing PS5.
