Martin Kenyon, the British pepaw and COVID vaccine-recipient who became an overnight star for being British!

Britain has already begun filling the veins of its people with a vaccine (the Pfizer one) that will hopefully do to the coronavirus what the sight of a naked me does to a boner: kills it! A group of elder-Brits have been the first people to get the vaccine, and that group includes charmer in a vest, Martin Kenyon. Martin got the vaccine and later, shot everyone up with a dose of happiness with his very British interview.

Here I was thinking that Britain chose which oldies would be the first to get the vaccine by throwing them all into a wrestling ring and making them battle it out to the death with the last one alive getting the first shot of anti-coronavirus nectar, but I was wrong! Martin simply called up the hospital and politely asked if he could get the vaccine. How very British! And after 91-year-old Martin got the vaccine, Cyril Vanier of CNN got an interview with him. While getting an appointment for the vaccine was easy, Martin’s harrowing journey to the hospital was not!

After Martin talked to someone at Guy’s Hospital and answered a few questions, he got his date with the corona vaccine. And yesterday, on the day of his vaccine appointment, he couldn’t find parking and then had a nasty lunch! via USA Today:

“Of course I couldn’t damn well find anywhere to park my car, so I was late,” he quipped. “Anyway, I’m here now. I got inside and they put me on the list. I went off and had a rather nasty lunch and then came back and they were ready for me.”

After his battle for parking, and his tastebuds’ battle with a gross lunch, Martin got the vaccine and said it was easier than a slutty indiscriminate bottom on poppers (and yes, I’m typing from experience). Martin barely felt a prick (“Now you know how I feel.” – Stormy Daniels). Martin, who was an anti-apartheid activist back in the day, says that he got the vaccine because “there’s no point in dying now” and that he wants to hug his grandkids at Christmastimes.

Many were charmed by the charm of Martin and that interview went viral. So during a segment on Good Morning Britain about the first vaccine recipients, they talked to overnight star Martin who thinks it’s rather ridiculous that he went viral (and also wondered to The Guardian if we’ve got anything better to talk about. The answer to that, Martin is: NO!) Martin went full Martin by being modest and pfft’d at all the attention he’s gotten. And after letting us know that the “nasty lunch” was actually a delicious prawn sandwich, Piers Morgan brought up his grandchildren’s names (at around the 4:40 mark), and Martin was surprised that Piers knew that much about him and asked, “Now, who are you?”

Okay, so now I’m beginning to think that going viral wasn’t good for Martin Kenyon. If he didn’t go viral, he may not have been asked on Good Morning Britain, and if he never went on Good Morning Britain, he’d still be a pure soul who wasn’t tainted with knowing who Piers Morgan is. QUICK, Britain needs to make a vaccine that makes you forget about the virus that is Piers Morgan! Do it for Martin, Britain!
