The Kardashians Are Calling Off Their Khristmas Party For The First Time In Over 40 Years

For the first time since 1978, rich people won’t descend on Calabasas to indulge in the wealth of the Kardashian Koven for Khristmas Eve. I know. Of all the tragedies to befall humanity recently, rich people NOT having a holiday party is truly the most relevant and saddest to hear about. Is there a GoFundMe yet?

Last month, Khloé Kardashian suggested that their annual Khristmas Eve party would go on as usual. The Kardashian/Jenners had just come off of an island bash during Coronavirus, and a Halloween birthday party during Coronavirus. So with rapid-testing and their uber-wealth, there really was no reason for them not to have a party, right? Oh you mean because morally it would be kind of the rich to not overtly flaunt the reality that the mechanisms of capitalism have put them at such an advantage over regular people they can circumvent an entire deadly virus killing thousands of people a day?

Most parts of California, including Southern California, went into lockdown for three weeks, starting on December 6. That means that all private gatherings of all sizes are not allowed, and believe it or not, the Koven isn’t above the rules, so their party is not going to go down. Khloé made the announcement on Twitter while acting like it was “their” decision and not the Governor’s. And with the final season of Keeping Up One More Cycle Of Moral Violence With The Kardashians, it’s so sad they’re missing out on such a good promo opportunity. If the Kardashian/Jenners can’t film a Khristmas party, does Santa Klaus die?

The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year. It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978 🥺I believe. Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must

Poor Kris, this cancellation is going to hit her the hardest. Yes, because the party generated a huge amount of attention and press for the family as they shmoozed with all their celebrity friends and social connections. But also because Kris used it as a chance to harvest the young virgins who came to work as waitstaff. Now, where will she find her sacrifices?!
