Hot Slut Of The Day!

Crunchy Loggs!

A reader wrote me the other day to ask if “Crunchy Loggs” had ever been a Hot Slut of the Day, and I wanted to respond with, “I am sorry, but contrary to popular belief, I ain’t a scat queen!”  But Crunchy Loggs may sound like something nutty a squirrel with bowel issues pooted out, but it was actually a cereal from Kellogg’s in the late-70s.

Kellogg’s Crunchy Loggs was a “ready-sweetened” corn (in the voice of Carol Channing, “CORN?!“) and oat cereal that was fortified with “10 essential vitamins and minerals” and came in regular flavor and strawberry. It’s mascot was Bixby the Beaver, who in those tight jeans and with that luscious wavy bang looked like a twink trying to butch it up for for his visit to his small Mountain hometown for Thanksgiving.

I couldn’t find a Crunchy Loggs commercial or any other info, but it did land on several lists of the worst or weirdest cereals ever. I don’t know, could it be because that mess looked like the opposite of appetizing and they were little brown logs called Crunchy Loggs? Or could it be because to some of us dick-brained sucios, it looked like a bowl of dicks. Wait, I think I just sold myself on Crunchy Loggs being the best cereal ever.
