Megan Fox Has Filed For Divorce From Brian Austin Green
This news might feel like you’ve heard it before, but no. Back in May, we only learned that Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green had split up (again). But now we’re learning that she went ahead and took steps to make that split official by filing for divorce (er…again). Okay, I can see how you might be having a déjà-vu right now.
TMZ says that Megan had a little pre-Turkey Day surprise for Brian, which was that she went and filed divorce papers on Wednesday. Megan and Brian were married for nearly 10 and a half years, and they share three kids together (8-year-old Noah Shannon, 6-year-old Bodhi Ransom, 4-year-old Journey River). Megan has been seeing rapper Machine Gun Kelly for the better part of the year, and it kind of seems like Megan has been decidedly more confident in closing the chapter of her marriage to BAG than he has been. So no one, especially not Brian, should be surprised by this news.
At the very least, it sounds like Brian hasn’t responded to Megan’s divorce filing with the kind of pettiness that could wreck his relationship with his childrens’ mother (ahem, again). Megan is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their three kids. She also requested to terminate the ability for herself or Brian to ask for spousal support. Brian has reportedly agreed to her request for joint legal and physical custody of the kids.
This is also Megan’s second time filing for divorce from Brian. She first filed papers back in 2015. But obviously that didn’t take, and they remained together until…well, that’s actually the part of this situation that has the potential to make things real messy. Megan stated on her latest divorce documents that they separated in November 2019. Brian claims the date of their separation is March 5, 2020. About a month after Brian says they split, we saw pictures of Megan and Brian exchanging their kids for a visit.
Also potential trouble: Brian reportedly didn’t agree to Megan’s thoughts on spousal support, and has checked a box to keep the prospect of spousal support on the table. As for child support, that’s not known at this time. The internet claims that Megan’s next worth is in the neighborhood of $8 million, which is – according to the internet – the same as Brian Austin Green. Maybe Brian is doing Megan a favor. Brian is only worth $8 million now, but just wait until The Masked Dancer premieres on FOX. Brian is sure to increase his net worth by at least 900%. I don’t know how they calculate television viewership into dollars, but I do know I’ll be faithfully watching that train wreck every single week, and that’s got to account for some profit increase.
