Ricky Schroder Helped Bail Out Accused Murderer Kyle Rittenhouse

“Yeah, so on January 1, 2020, you’re going to want to hibernate in a WiFi-less cave for the next 12 months. Don’t come out! A lot of fucked-up shit happens including that little blond brat on the train helping to bail out a wannabe militiaboy who shot and killed two people during a protest” is what I’d say to a little me watching Silver Spoons after time-traveling back to 1986. And, “Oh no, am I going to look that haggard?” is what a little me would say to current day me during that time-travel visit.

Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old from Illinois who shot and killed two men during the Jacob Blake protests in August, is now out of jail after posting his $2 million bail in cash. TMZ says that a chunk of that money came from the pockets of Ricky Schroder. I know, you probably burped up a ball of shock over that. Who knew that Ricky Schroder had $150,000 in cash?!

Kyle Rittenhouse has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide for killing Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber and injuring Gaige Grosskreutz during a protest over the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. His bail was set at $2 million. Last night, Kyle Rittenhouse’s lawyer Lin Wood tweeted that his “hero” client was lifted up by God (“Uh, it wasn’t the hands of me that lifted him up. You’ve been catfished. I was busy getting a manicure last night.” – God) and bailed out of jail. Lin Wood said that thanks to donations, they were able to get Kyle Rittenhouse out, and that Ricky Schroder and Mike Lindall, aka the My Pillow Guy, put them “over the top.” Lin also tweeted this pic of Kyle Rittenhouse and Ricky Schroder:

The My Pillow Guy reportedly donated $50,000. Ricky and the My Pillow Guy aren’t strangers to getting violent. The My Pillow Guy was arrested for domestic violence in 2008, and last year, Ricky Schroder was arrested twice in a month for felony domestic abuse. So yeah, ragey birds of a feather…

Ricky Schroder hasn’t done much acting stuff throughout the years but he was in two Dolly Parton TV movies a few years ago. So yeah, now Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors stars someone who used his money to help out a killer who took lives and also stars someone who used her money to save lives. There’s also been talk on Twitter that Scott Baio gave money to get Kyle Rittenhouse out. I haven’t found any proof of that, but I believe it. And I’m sure that the almost-used-up Walmart gift card with 23 cents on it really helped out, Scott!
