Mo’Nique Admonished Oprah For Putting Breonna Taylor On The Cover Of O Magazine

Get ready for Mo’Nique vs. Oprah: Round Bajillion! Mo’Nique went after Oprah for putting Breonna Taylor on the cover of O magazine. Mo’Nique says she’s only ever seen Oprah on the cover of her magazine, or Oprah with another person. Never a solo cover. And Mo’Nique thinks it’s pretty interesting that Oprah gave Breonna the privilege of a solo cover. Because (and get ready for this) Breonna is a murder victim. And Oprah? She is a murderer… of Mo’Nique’s career. Wait, what?

Here are the exact words she said on Out Loud with Claudia Jordan, via ONTD:

She says “that’s a sister that was murdered and Oprah Winfrey took a stand and said ‘we gotta get justice'” Monique goes on to say “As you took a stand for our sister that was murdered, you took part in murdering my career.”

It is quite the stretch. And then her husband, Sidney Hicks, went on about how it was a good thing Ice Cube visited the Orange Fuck in the White House. Cuz Ice Cube was actually doing it for the 99%, and we should thank him. And the people who were upset at Ice Cube for being “used” by Trump are actually hypocrites because they called Mo’Nique crazy when she refused to be “used”? Honestly, I don’t know.

Here’s the video:

Obviously, people on Twitter were not impressed by that unfortunate Breonna Taylor comparison:

A brief history of the Mo’Nique/Oprah feud: It started way back in 2010. Oprah had Mo’Nique’s estranged parents and brothers on her show (one of those brothers molested her). Mo’Nique saw this as a betrayal and told Oprah she was hurt. Opes gave her the ol’ Housewives style non-apology of: “If you think I did something wrong, then I apologize.” Mo’Nique also accused Oprah of helping Lee Daniels blackball her for not playing the Hollywood game. And called her out for condemning Harvey Weinstein, but giving alleged sexual assaulters like Michael Jackson and Russell Simmons a break because of their race. She’s talked about Oprah a lot; in her act, to the press, on Youtube, on social media, etc. And Oprah’s never responded, except to say she remained silent to rise above Mo’Nique’s “negative energy.”

If Mo’Nique ever had an edge in her war against Oprah, she just threw it out the window with this Breonna Taylor nonsense. So Round Bajillion officially goes to: Oprah!
