Paul Rudd Handed Out Cookies To New York Voters Waiting In Line to Cast Early Ballots
And now for some sweet news. Like, it’s literally sweet (yuk yuk yuk). Paul Rudd, eternal young one and noted mensch, went out to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and handed out cookies to people waiting in line to cast their early ballots. And, here’s the twist – it was raining.
The actor’s good deed was captured on film by one of the voters, drummer for the band Guster, Brian Rosenworcel. Here’s the video:

Any other celeb, and I’d be rolling my eyes at this clear PR stunt. But Paul? I honestly think he might just be a nice guy. He wore a face mask and plastic gloves, and could be heard saying on the video, “I want to say thank you for coming out and voting and doing your part”.
Last week Paul joined his Avengers co-stars for the Voters Assemble! Joe Biden fundraiser. The one that Chris Pratt skipped. And in September, he partnered up with Governor Andrew Cuomo to ask his fellow youths to wear a mask. This guy!
Paul’s cookies were from the sweets store Milk Bar and wrapped in plastic packaging. So, no, this likely won’t be a superspreader event. Can you imagine those headlines? “Ant-Man’s Sweet Treats Spread Sickness To Early Voters: See You In Court, Rudd!” Honestly, I wouldn’t put it past 2020.
