Brad Pitt And Nicole Poturalski’s Whirlwind Quarantine Romance Is Over
Just a few days ago, Mieka was reporting that Brad Pitt’s rumored current lady Nicole Poturalski was seen on a date in Berlin with her husband Roland Mary, and that they looked, “more together than ever.” Naturally, I wasn’t surprised to hear that. After all, if I was married to one old rich dude and getting body slammed by a hot less-old famous dude, I’d have a twinkle in my eye and a warmth in my heart at all times too, regardless of who was sitting across from me at the dinner table. But as it turns out, Nicole and Roland were giving off extra-strong in-love vibes, because Roland might be the only man in her life at the moment. At the very least, Brad has exited the situation.
And funny enough, that’s not the only Brangelina-adjacent breakup that has recently happened. We’re also learning that Angelina Jolie has split from one of her divorce lawyers.
So, first Brad’s sad news. E! News is saying that after just two months of dating, 56-year-old Brad and 27-year-old Nicole are over. A source says they called it quits a few weeks ago, and that it was never that serious to begin with. Which I guess means Brad isn’t crying too hard over his pottery wheel. But they did make some lovely memories while they were together. Let’s revisit them, shall we? Don’t pack too heavy, it’s not a very long trip.
Basically, in August, we learned that Brad was allegedly getting with Nicole, who was allegedly in an open relationship with her 68-year-old restaurateur (she also shares a 7-year-old son with him). But, they have reportedly been friends for a while. About six seconds into their alleged romance, Brad and Nicole flew to Chateau Miraval, the fancy French chateau and winery he co-owns with Angelina Jolie, a move that reportedly made Angelina, “furious.” And while they never confirmed they were together, Nicole did manage to imply as much on Instagram, by responding to questions about if she hated Angelina (she claimed she did not).
Which all brings us to today, where we bid a bittersweet farewell to Brad’s COVID-19 relationship. Brad can now go back to focusing on fighting his ex-wife in court, and Nicole can keep fighting her haters online. Although I’m sure her hater count just dropped dramatically, now that she’s no longer That Girl Doing Brad Pitt.
Brad’s continued fight against Angelina Jolie over the custody of five of their six kids just got a new update, which is that the name Priya Sopori will no longer be one he has to remember. Angelina started out with the divorce lawyer to the stars, Laura Wasser, who worked with Angelina until 2018. It’s still unclear whether Laura quit or Laura was asked to leave the case. Angelina then hired Samantha Bley Dejean, who is still working with Angelina as her lead counsel. Priya Sopori worked under Samantha, but as The Daily Mail reports, Priya has left.
It’s not clear whether Jolie – who is fighting Pitt’s efforts to win 50/50 custody of their children – fired Sopori or if the attorney made the decision to quit. But the change in her high profile team at this late stage signals Jolie’s resolve to get what she wants has only hardened.
A source close to Jolie told DailyMail.com: “Angelina has fought tooth and nail to get what she wants in this divorce, when it comes to her kids she won’t back down. She’s paying her legal team a fortune, so if she believes one of her lawyers needs to go she won’t hesitate to pull the trigger.”
The Daily Mail adds that Priya recently filed a Notice of Withdrawal of Attorney of Record with LA Superior Court, which literally just means she’s not working on the Jolie/Pitt custody case. So there are no clues there. Brad is asking for 50/50 custody of the kids, while Angelina is reportedly fighting for full custody, and the ability to move them to Europe if she so chooses.
I hope whatever lawyer replaces Priya Sopori is as prepared as humanly possible. And no, I don’t mean that they should have a briefcase full of notes and case files. I’m suggesting that new lawyer show up on the first day with an ObusForme backrest support tucked under their arm. Angelina and Brad’s divorce fight has been going on for more than four years, and we’re JUST at the point where neither will budge on custody? That new lawyer should be prepared to sit and stay awhile.
