“Jersey Shore Family Vacation” Season 4 Was Filmed In A Quarantined Hotel

Jersey Shore is still on television because I guess there’s an audience for anything. Well they’re back for another round of Jersey Shore Family Vacation and since it’s coronavirus times, they decided to do a Family Staycation and MTV rented out an entire hotel for them to party in. Lucky for them it wasn’t the Hotel Cortez.

Just like how The Bachelorette decided to work around coronavirus by filming in a closed resort so as to avoid disease, Jersey Shore has done the same. They just had to worry about infecting each other with diseases. Entertainment Weekly says that for the show’s fourth season, which returns November 19, the entire cast stayed at the rented out Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort. The current cast includes Pauly D, Vinny Guadgnino, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Deena Cortese, Angelina Pivarnick, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, The Situation, and someone who Entertainment Weekly called “Vinny’s hilariously creepy Uncle Nino.”

You know things got wild because last season ended with Angelina getting into drama with the other girls at her wedding and so how can people not get dramatic when stuck in a sprawling hotel with nothing else to do but drink and argue? Can’t wait. Except I can. Here’s the trailer:

Snooki really picked a bad time to leave the series. A great time to film a show is during a pandemic quarantine because there’s nothing going on in your real-life anyway. Snooki said she left to be with her kids, but she could have brought them. Although, maybe not (see: hilariously creepy uncle).

But honestly, I’m just amazed that it took us this long to finally quarantine the cast of Jersey Shore away from the rest of civilization. Seems like something we should have done a while ago.
