50 Cent Is Officially No Longer Chelsea Handler’s Favorite Ex-Boyfriend

Every once in a while, we’re reminded of one of the more random, weird Hollywood couples of the past, and you go, “Oh yeah, that’s right – Chelsea Handler and 50 Cent were a thing.” Here we are, once again being reminded that Chelsea and 50 were a thing. But this time, the reminder has come with a bit of ex-boyfriend drama. A few days ago, 50 Cent came out in support of Donald Trump, because he was terrified that possible future president Joe Biden would take all his money through taxes. Chelsea was grossed out by that, and quickly let 50 know that that’s the kind of thing that knocks a man off the #1 position of her Favorite Ex-Boyfriends List.

Chelsea and 50 casually dated for a minute about ten years ago, and she was reportedly the one who called it off (and subsequently – and allegedly – broke his heart). But ever since then, they’ve remained on relatively friendly terms with each other. He even showed up to say goodbye on her final episode of Chelsea Lately. A few years ago, she spoke to Oprah and said that 50 was “a sweetheart.

Well, 50 recently did something that Chelsea found almost as hateful than if someone were to serve her an alcohol-free beverage. With less than two weeks away from the US Presidential Election, 50 endorsed Trump. He claimed that he didn’t care that Trump, “doesn’t like black people,” he just couldn’t get with Joe Biden’s proposed tax plan to fairly tax America’s richest, which according to Joe Biden is anyone who makes more than $400,000 a year. Makes sense! But not to a rich-when-it’s-convenient person like 50 Cent. Chelsea Handler, also a rich person and a person who has spent the past couple of years really leaning into politics and activism, fired back on Twitter. And because it’s Chelsea, she did it in the most pissed-off auntie way possible.

She literally just offered to pay his taxes for him. Wow, he really was her favorite ex. I don’t even want to pay my own taxes, let alone the taxes of the exes I’m on good terms with.

50 Cent hasn’t publicly responded to Chelsea’s offer. Privately is another story. The man did file for bankruptcy five years ago. So there is a chance Chelsea received a text that reads: “Hey Handsy, how do we do this – do you send me the money or do you go straight to the IRS on my behalf?
