Open Post: Hosted By The Unofficial Megan Thee Stallion “Savage” Remix, Featuring Alex Trebek

Alex Trebek is a legend. And, after 94 years as the host of Jeopardy!, he’s also shown himself to be a bit of a savage. And Alex further cemented that reputation when one of the clues from Thursday’s episode included the lyrics to Megan Thee Stallion’s Savage. Alex coolly and calmly read out the lyrics in that mild, deadpan Canadian tone––he even gave a look of “bitch, please” to the contestant who fumbled the answer. But now, some creative genius has interpolated Alex’s “rapping” with the original music and released a surefire Grammy winner.

According to Billboard, Thursday night’s episode included a “Billboard Charts in 2020″ category. And, the $1000 clue read as follows:

“Classy, bougie, ratched & sassy, moody, nasty, says this no. 1 hit by Megan Thee Stallion”

Fortunately, the contestant, orthopedic surgeon Daniel Lee, got the answer right (I mean, technically he said: “What is ‘I’m a Savage’?”, at which point Alex glared at him for being such a dumb fuck. Lee eventually got the message and changed his answer to “What is ‘Savage’?” Now, imagine Alex Trebek reading those lyrics aloud. Well, he did. And it has now become the sample of the century, having already been used in a remix that appeared literally the same day on Twitter.

The next step is now getting Alex and Megan in the recording booth and hammering out a proper intro and re-vamped bridge. C’mon 2020, this is the collaboration we need. This is the collaboration we DESERVE!
