Luke Parker From “The Bachelorette” Has Been Ordered To Pay $100,000 For Breach Of Contract

Luke Parker from last season’s The Bachelorette has become an example of why when you get a villain-edit on a reality show it’s best to just sit there and eat your food, because when you try to defend your honor you may be breaching your contract. The former contestant from season 15 has been ordered to pay $100,000 to the production company, NZK Productions Inc., which makes the series. I’d normally think that was excessive since they’re already a rich corporation but also Luke P was a legitimate bastard, so like… meh.

During season 15 of The Bachelorette, Luke got into fights with the other dudes and it wasn’t just alpha douche screaming. Shit got physical.  He also shamed the Bachelorette, Hannah Brown, for having sex on the Fantasy Suite dates because he was a “born-again virgin.” But he was also a producer’s wet dream since he was such a dick. They must have had circle jerks each night. Here’s a taste:

People reports that NZK filed a petition against Luke in May saying he made “unauthorized media appearances” while still under his Bachelorette contract. Which states:

In signing the waiver, Parker agreed to not “make any media appearances from the date of the Agreement through one year after the date of the initial broadcast of the final episode of the series.”

The agreement also prohibited Parker from making “any unauthorized use or disclosure of any information or events he witnessed or learned as a contestant… or make any negative or disparaging remarks about the series and/or its principals, employees or affiliates, at any time.”

So saying his megalomaniac personality was a frame job probably counted as “disparaging.” NZK described it as:

“[Parker] disclosed Series Information and/or made negative remarks about the Series and its producers, in breach of the Confidentiality Provision.”

He was ordered to pay $25,000 for each unauthorized media appearance and he did four, so he owes $100,000. Luke was super religious so I hope he starts praying for the money. A rep for him didn’t respond with a comment.

Like I said, Luke sucked ass so this is well-deserved. I mean Hannah already yelled at him (clip below) at the Men Tell All special. I guess Luke missed the part in the Bible where it says: “And thou shalt not slur The Bachelor producers.”
