“Charmed” Fight! Holly Marie Combs And Sarah Jeffrey Are Beefing Over The Reboot

There’s some more drama in the Charmed-universe! But this drama isn’t about Rose McGowan and Alyssa Milano fighting with each other over how best to fight for feminism. This is a feud between Olde and Nu Charmed Houses. After Holly Marie Combs and Rose talked shit about the remake, Charmed-reboot actress, Sarah Jeffrey, accused them of being salty bitches and being mean to women of color. But Holly fired back saying it has nothing to do with race and that the new show just sucks.
BuzzFeed says that this all started during an Instagram Live that Rose and Holly did. In the video, Holly talks about the original Charmed leaving Netflix, which she thinks is related to getting more views for the Charmed reboot, which was renewed for a third season.
“I think it means when you search for it, they want you find the new Charmed and not the old people.”
Rose hopped in with her own opinions on the series, which elicited some chuckles from Holly:
“But it sucks! I haven’t seen it, I can’t say that. I’ve never seen it. I’m happy that people have jobs. But it can still suck.”
It really doesn’t sit right with me that white women from the OG charmed consistently put down a new #Charmed with a POC cast.. you hate to see it… pic.twitter.com/wSINjs66Ie

Sarah hopped on Twitter to call Holly and Rose “sad and pathetic” and hoped that they find “happiness” because she would be embarrassed to be acting this way. Oh shit, there hasn’t been a magical showdown this intense since Voldemort’s Last Stand.
2/2 I truly hope they find happiness elsewhere, and not in the form of putting down other WOC. I would be embarrassed to behave this way. Peace and love to y’all. https://t.co/MuyZCZjbCp

Can’t a woman just hate something another woman has done without being anti-woman? And that’s pretty much what Holly wondered when she took to Twitter and said this:
That’s some bullshit. And a lot of it. Clearly. People speaking, excuse me typing, derogatory accusations of a person’s character despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary because of a difference in opinions about a tv show is just plain wrong. And also personal gain honey.

I guess they’ll have to settle this with a magical fight in a crossover-episode merging the old and new Charmed. Although getting Rose and Alyssa in a room together would prove more explosive than any CGI magic they could come up with.
