Dizzy Grizzlies!

Dizzy Grizzlies may sound like what you call a group of gay bears who just got off of a carousel, but in the 1990s, it was the name of Teddy Grahams that got dressed up in chocolate and sprinkles. They were edgier and more badass Teddy Grahams. I bet they gave wedgies to the regular Teddy Grahams before stuffing them in a locker. They were THAT badass.

Nabisco first gifted mouths with Teddy Grahams in 1988 and seven years later in 1995, they decided to step into Dunk-A-Roos and Mother’s Circus Animal Cookies (please, like they could ever compete with those tiny masterpieces) territory with frosted Teddy Grahamas. But Dizzy Grizzlies weren’t completely frosted. They were two-faced bitches because one side of them was plain and the other was decorated with frosting and sprinkles. That’s why they called them Dizzy Grizzlies. They would spin around to show you their two sides, which gave them the dizzies. They came in chocolate frosted and vanilla frosted. And since it was a law in the 90s that products marketed toward children must involve skateboarding and rollerblading, Dizzy Grizzles skateboard, BMX biked, and rollerbladed:

Nabisco eventually got rid of Dizzy Grizzlies a few years later. America is just full of basics who like their Teddy Grahams basic. We couldn’t handle a chocolate and sprinkles-covered graham cracker bear in our mouths. And now that I think about it, eating Dizzy Grizzlies butched me up a bit, because it was the closest I ever got to actually BMXing.
