Andy Cohen Shuts Down The Idea Of Caitlyn Jenner And Sophia Hutchins On “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills”
Recently, Denise Richards bowed out of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after carrying the last season on her back, and Teddi Mellencamp got fired for permanently sucking the life out of each room the last three seasons. That still leaves Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Lisa Rinna, Garcelle Beauvais, and Dorit Kemsley to earn that easy Bravo check by staging fraudulent fights. But with Denise and Teddi gone, that leaves some spots open. Kris Jenner already said she’s not interested and Kathy Hilton is in talks to be a “Friend of the Housewives.” And it was rumored that 70-year-old Caitlyn Jenner and her “gal pal,” 24-year-old Sophia Hutchins were in talks to join. But the evil dark lord of Bravo, Andy Cohen, waved away that rumor. So Caitlyn and Sophia probably put that rumor out there themselves for cheap publicity. If Kris Jenner had a heart, it’d warm over one of her ex Koven members making her proud.
The rumor was that Bravo was talking to Sophia about becoming a full-time cast member and Caitlyn would be a “Friend.” But Andy, got on his SiriusXM Radio Andy show yesterday to let everyone know that Caitlyn will not be saying, “Buckle-up Buckaroos!“, as the Housewives brace themselves for their lives while she drives them to the launch of Lisa Rinna’s new line of DIY lip filler kits.
“This is one of those where the call is coming from inside the house, as they say. I know that they have expressed their interest publicly. On social media, they’ve tagged me in posts saying, “We think this is a great idea.” But we’ve never talked to them formally. That rumor is not true.”
Even though Caitlyn is apparently friends with Lisa Rinna’s Harry Hamlin, Andy said that casting the two doesn’t make sense:
“You know, the thing about it is, Kris [Jenner] is good friends with Kyle [Richards]. They are legitimately really good friends. And so, yeah, no, I just don’t see it.”
Well, I guess this means that the Housewives will be spared from rolling their eyes even more when Caitlyn speaks. Although, RHoBH did just lose two blondes, and Caitlyn very recently “went” blonde and talked about some secret project:
But going blond probably has nothing to do with RHoBH. Caitlyn said last year that Khloe Kardashian hasn’t talked to her for a long time. So maybe Caitlyn figured that one way to get Khloe to talk to her again is to steal one of Khloe’s old weaves.
