For those of you who follow the one-year-old authentic union between Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello (*crickets*), you know that there were rumors that they split up after months and months of them spreading their love all over the place. But well, they’d like you to know that their love is alive! Camila has taken to social media to rave about Shawn and coincidentally he’s got a new album coming. Who’d have thought! Trying to squelch breakup rumors and promo an album at the same time? It’s as though the two are related…
Camila had previously called being in a staged relationship love “exhausting” so it wasn’t surprising when those break-rumors came out. But it’s not over for Camila and Shawn. Camila posted to Instagram a clip of the trailer for Shawn’s new project, Wonder. The single and music video, also named Wonder, will come out tomorrow. Camila called it “a gorgeous gift to the world” and said to Shawn:
“My love, I’m so proud of the person you are and I’m so excited for people to see and hear your heart.”
Shawn replied with heart emojis.
Welp kids, it’s promo time! Better get those tongues revved up because there’s some work to do! I hope Shawn and Camila stretch first because their mouths are probably rusty since it’s been a while since they’ve done public make-outs. And if their tonsils give out like Miley Cyrus’ did, I don’t know how Shawn will promote his album.
