Sophia Hutchins And Caitlyn Jenner Are Reportedly In Talks To Join “The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills”
I know, I know. Despite everything that has been going on throughout this year of utter shit and fire, you’ve ALL had that same thought rattling around in the back of your minds: When will we get to see MORE of Caitlyn Jenner? Well, your wait may soon be over because the luminaries over at Bravo are apparently in talks with Caitlyn, and her one-time rumored girlfriend, Sophia Hutchins, to fill some recent vacancies over on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Seriously, if this deal goes through, LITERALLY clear my Wednesdays (and hungover Thursdays) from here on out.
For someone who doesn’t really seem to have a job, Caitlyn has sure got a lot of career aspirations. When she’s not crowing about how desperately she wants to be Kanye West‘s vice president, she’s inserting herself into conversations about getting herself back into the spotlight in any way possible. However, despite this, Caitlyn is also a messy person prone to serious drama, so this union seems like a match made in trash TV heaven. Toss Sophia––a human being who can actually tolerate being around Caitlyn for more than 30 seconds at a time––into the mix, and you’ve got the perfect combination.
There are several spots available on RHoBH after Denise Richards quit the show and Teddi Mellencamp was fired. Kathy Hilton is supposedly in talks to become a “Friend of the Housewives,” and now TMZ is reporting that 24-year-old Sophia Hutchins could be the Housewives‘ franchise first-ever transgender main cast member. And that 70-year-old Caitlyn may come along for the attention. via TMZ:
Sources close to the gal pals tell TMZ … Sophia recently sat down for dinner with former ‘Housewives’ castmate Eileen Davidson, and they talked about the show and the possibility of Sophia filling a vacancy. We’re told they also chatted about Eileen’s experience on the show and Sophia got enough good feedback that she decided ‘RHOBH’ was something she wanted to do.
Our sources say Sophia’s camp reached out to production and the sides have been talking about the possibility of her joining the show, possibly as a main cast member … and Sophia’s roommate Caitlyn would also make appearances.
Sophia is also apparently friendly with current Housewife Lisa Rinna, while Caitlyn is friends with Lisa’s husband, Harry Hamlin.
After we all found out that our national nightmare, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, was ending, some thought that Kris Jenner would join RHoBH, but she’s denied that. But maybe if Caitlyn joins, Kris will join too and the Kardashian-Jenner’s reign of basic cable terror will continue. Leave it to Andy Cohen to whip up something evil like that.
