Czech Immigrant Ivana Trump Is Being Called A Bigot After She Echoed Donald Trump’s Views On Immigrants

Donald Trump’s ex-wife Ivana Trump is being labeled as a bigot after a recent appearance on the British chat show Loose Women. Ivana, an immigrant to the United States, said among other things, that immigrants come here to steal and rape women. Now before you rush to judgment, know that she was working on very little sleep. Maybe she was talking about Donald. After all, she had to get up hours before the interview to do her hair and makeup after having had a sleeping pill chased with a little chardonnay as a midnight snack. But more likely, just like everything else that bears the Trump name, Ivana proved, once again, that no matter how much you buff it, wax it, or plate it with gold, we’re still just looking at a quivering monument to racism, narcissism and greed with too many teeth. And yes I am including the steaks. It says so right there on the label “may contain teeth.”

In a rare interview this week, Ivana Trump sounded off on a range of things and, much like her most famous ex-husband has, drew criticism for “inhumane” comments on immigration.

During an appearance on the U.K. talk show Loose Women on Monday, the businesswoman and former model, 71, discussed her family, the Trump administration and other topics.

In remarks that echoed President Donald Trump, who has a history of disparaging immigrants as criminals, Ivana criticized “a lot of people, they don’t dress even American, they dress in whatever they dress in and they don’t get jobs and they steal and they rape the women.”

“I have absolutely no problem with the immigrants, but they have to come to the country legally,” she said. “They have to get a job, they have to pay taxes like the rest of Americans and just live and be well and just [mesh] into the society.”

This is rich coming from a woman whose accent is thicker than her own delusion. She should know, better than most, that there are plenty of red-blooded Americans who don’t pay their taxes. Thankfully, Loose Women co-host Jane Moore pushed back on that, pointing out the obvious hypocrisy in her statement.

“Obviously you have a very privileged life and what you’ve just said about migrants I think a lot of people would find quite offensive because obviously you’re a migrant yourself — are you not shutting the door behind you? Do you not understand that a lot of people have desperate lives and they just want a better life? And how you describe them is quite inhumane.”

“Well it is inhumane and it is that,” Ivana told Moore, “but everybody has to pick themselves up, they have to go and apply for the visa properly, that they come to America, they can come and cross the border properly.”

“Those opportunities are very few and far between now, aren’t they?” Moore responded.

“Well it is. But the people which has a will, they prevail. People that don’t want to work and which just want to come to America and get the benefits and get the food stamps and sleep on the benches, this is what we don’t want,” Ivana said.

And what is Ivana’s job exactly? According to Ivana, it’s going to lunches and dinners. It used to include going to balls and the opera but she’s had to put those activities on hold because of the coronavirus. She is contributing to society as all worthy (read: white) immigrants do. She’s also contributed something else to America. Her daughter Ivanka Trump, our first woman President!

“I tell you, I think, she’s in the White House every day, you know? She’s next to her father every day. She knows all what is going around,” she said on Loose Women. “I think she could be one day the first woman president, definitely. She’s smart as hell, she’s beautiful, she’s au courant. How much more you can have?”

According to The Daily Mail, after getting branded a bigot by the British press, Ivana licked her wounds (and her chops) when she bravely returned to work on Monday.

Ivana Trump was spotted al fresco dining in New York City on Monday, tucking into a plate of spaghetti for lunch after she was branded a ‘bigot’ for an earlier appearance on UK television.

The 71-year-old former wife of President Donald Trump donned all-black and stopped by Upper East Side Italian restaurant Altesi with her teacup Yorkshire terrier which is also a certified comfort dog.

However Ivana appeared to be falling asleep as she tucked into the $30 pasta dish.

Honestly, I don’t see a big difference here from falling asleep on a park bench. But what are you gonna do?

Here’s the Loose Women segment. Looks like they’ve decided to exclude her comments on immigration (and disabled comments on YouTube), but did include her thoughts on how Melania Trump is doing as First Lady (or Second Lady if you ask her). Ivana’s “not sure” Melania’s doing a good job because she “doesn’t really go to too many places,” which in addition to being au courant, seems to be the only occupation for a woman Ivana can fathom.
