Taylor Swift Sent A Hand-Embroidered Baby Blanket To New Mom Katy Perry

In case you’ve been living under a rock the last couple years, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry finally ended their very public feud, cementing their status as legendary feminist icons totally above petty Bad Blood and that Swish Swish, Bish shit. Recently the two have elevated their relationship from “not enemies” to “actually kinda friends”, as evidenced by Taylor sending Katy a hand-embroidered blanket for her three-week-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom.

Here’s Katy’s post thanking Taylor for the gift:

Katy doesn’t clarify, but I’m guessing Taylor sewed and embroidered the blanket herself. Because it doesn’t look like it’s been constructed by a, um, professional. I don’t mean that as shady as it comes off, cuz I suck at sewing. I recently tried taking up one of my dresses, got sick of that shit 20 minutes in, and lazily made the rest of the stitches a full two inches apart. Now the dress has a loose-thread fringe across half the bottom. Taylor could teach me a thing or two.

In other Swift news, Lindsay Lohan gave a shout out to Taylor on her Twitter to say… absolutely nothing:

In case she deletes it (she’ll delete it), the tweet simply says: “@taylorswift13”. Huh. Short and sweet, just like every one of Lilo’s alleged comebacks.

This isn’t the first time Lindsay’s been vocal about her love for Taylor. She previously flooded one of Taylor’s Instagram Lives with such gems as “You should respond!”, and “My mom was in cats”:

Come on, Tay Tay! If you’re such a needle n’ thread whiz, throw Lilo a bone and make her a little blanket with the words, “My mom was in cats” embroidered in the corner. Then add a tiny little pussycat wearing a Dina Lohan wig. Because women who want to set an example for their young female fans do what? SUPPORT OTHER WOMEN.
