Actually, Naomi Campbell Sued Vladislav Doronin First, ThankYouVeryMuch

Oh, that Naomi Campbell. Never one to miss a beat. After learning that Naomi is being sued by her billionaire ex-boyfriend, Vladislav Doronin, it has been revealed that Naomi, in fact, sued him FIRST––months before his recent lawsuit came about.

Vlad filed a lawsuit against Naomi in New York’s Supreme Court on September 4, claiming that Naomi has not paid him back the unspecified sum of money he allegedly loaned her, and also accused her of not returning some of his personal belongings, worth $3 million. And it looks like Vlad’s suit is his response to a suit that Naomi hit him with months ago. According to The New York Post, Naomi filed papers in London back in February against Vlad, claiming that he’s the one who is holding onto HER personal stuff:

Campbell filed papers in London in February and is currently in arbitration “to get some of her things back that are in his possession,” a source who knows the model told The Post. “She’s been asking for these things back for years, but they’ve had no recent conversation. And then he went and did this.”

Campbell, who is currently in Europe, is not furious about her former beau’s actions, the source added. “It’s really the other way around.” (A rep for Campbell had no comment.)

Right, he went and did THIS!? The nerve! We all know that when Naomi is faced with a difficult and disconcerting situation, she very calmly sits down with her aggressor and smooths everything out over a nice cup of tea and a biscuit. She definitely doesn’t throw things at people or assault them.

Naomi and Vlad dated for 5 years, starting in 2008. They were on-and-off, but broke up for good in 2013 after pictures came out of shady Vlad kissing Luo Zilin, who was Naomi’s protegee on the model reality show The Face.

Don’t expect this mess to be resolved anytime soon, and DO expect any further news of this bitter breakup to be communicated via “sources”:

“I’m sure that Naomi would say that Vlad is the worst bastard in the world,” a friend of both said. “I’m not sure that’s the case.”

However, another confidante added, “Vlad did not want her to work. And she knew that if she continued to work, it would come down to work or her personal life. And her personal life seems to have taken the toll.”

Have these two never seen an episode of Judge Judy? If two people are dating, gifts shared between them during the relationship are NOT. LOANS. You don’t get anything back. Sorry, Vlad, but that Bond villain lair you gifted to Naomi forever belongs to her! And Vlad is a billionaire, so $3 million is nothing to him. But maybe Vlad and Naomi aren’t over each other and this is just how Russian billionaires and multi-millionaire supermodels flirt with each other?
