Trevor Noah And Minka Kelly Are A Couple Now
Before today, if you had asked me to speculate about Trevor Noah’s personal life, I might stupidly guess that he was hooking up with CNN’s email server because Trevor knows anything and everything there is to know about the news, and especially politics. But People magazine says that he’s with Minka Kelly and things are “very serious.”
36-year-old Trevor and 40-year-old Minka haven’t said a thing about their possible relationship, and neither of their reps are talking, but a source tells People:
“They’re very happy,” the insider shares. “It’s a very serious relationship.”
The source doesn’t get into serious specifics. Does that mean they’re thinking of getting married? They’re about to go Instagram official? Or are they just sharing the same Netflix account? Help us out here.
As for how these two got together, that’s also not really known. A source tells Us Weekly that they’ve been together, “for awhile,” and that they got together well before the quarantine. E! News says that Minka has been quarantined with Trevor at his apartment in Manhattan. E! also points out that because of mask restrictions, it’s probably been pretty easy for them to fly under the radar, since you can’t really see their faces when they step out. Minka’s Instagram account doesn’t really provide any clues about whether or not she’s been quarantined with Trevor, as her social media account focuses more on activism than selfies these days.
Trevor’s last girlfriend was a singer/songwriter/model named Jordyn Taylor, but he hasn’t been linked to her since 2017. Minka’s dating history has been just a bit more notable and juicy, and I’m not talking about the time she was torn between her loyalty to Jason Street and her horny-ness for Tim Riggins (I will never let Friday Night Lights die). The last person Minka was linked to was Jesse Williams, and we all remember how that went, right? In 2017, Jesse announced he was splitting from his wife of five years, and almost immediately he was ducking allegations that his marriage ended because he was hooking up with Minka Kelly. Minka swore she was no homewrecker, but she didn’t have to defend herself for too long, because after about 6 months of dating, she and Jesse were done.
Minka has also dated John Mayer, Derek Jeter, and Wilmer Valderrama. So congratulations to Minka on landing a dude who doesn’t giggle like a middle school boy at words like caucus, polling station, riding, or general election. Which might not seem like that big of a deal to some. And I’m not calling some of her exes dumb. But this is an election year, and it’s probably nice not to hear Trevor Noah snicker, “Huh huh…riding.”
