Not only has Kanye West chosen to run a joke Presidential campaign during a very crucial election, but while doing so he’s been spouting all kinds of his special brand of Absolut Bullshit™. He spoke with fellow mess, Nick Cannon, during a lengthy interview. Kanye used his time with Nick to deny that he’s a pawn of the GOP to help Trump’s campaign and wants everyone to know that he’s richer than Trump.
Complex says that while on Nick Cannon’s podcast Cannon’s Classes, Kanye claimed to have “a tone of morality” and “a tone of spirituality” in his Presidential aspirations and again talked about how he was set up on this path to righteous leadership after reading the Bible while in the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
“God brought me to my knees multiple times… The first time that I was put in the hospital in 2016, I actually started reading the bible. That was part of what god hit me with. You know, god has a calling on all of us and he uses us in different ways.”
Kanye’s favorite quote from the Bible is, “And Moses Said: Forbes Magazine Sucks.” No, but Kanye is still mad about Forbes repeatedly refusing to call him a billionaire (they finally gave in).
“I’m not gonna lie to you, I like being cool. I didn’t go into an environment to come off uncool. Why would I wanna come off uncool if I’ve been telling Forbes for three years to put me on the list and they intentionally snubbed me off the list? I feel like Forbes kept snubbing me because they wanted to say, “We can’t show you a person being successful that didn’t do it the exact way that we told you you need to do it in order to be successful.”“
As for his comments on abortion, Kanye said that they’re straight from God, just like when God told him to interrupt Taylor Swift. Because that’s God’s two lanes of interest: Beyoncé losing an award and abortion.
“Right now, God is giving me the information and he ain’t give me no other information … So that means he wants me to say this now. If God ain’t want me to run on stage and say Beyoncé had the best video, he wouldn’t have sat me in the front row. I woulda been sitting in the back and they woulda made it the first award and he wouldn’t have made it so ridiculous because I had never heard of this person before and Single Ladies is one of the greatest videos of all time. And I was only drinking Hennessy because I didn’t want to go to the awards show because it was a set-up.”
Kanye also promised that he’s not owned by the GOP (even though they keep helping him run for President for some reason…) and said that he can’t be bought because he’s “richer than Donald Trump.” via Billboard:
“People keep on saying I think that y’all, you and Republicans, are in cahoots,” West said. Cannon responded saying that there are people who believe Republicans are “paying you to do what you’re doing to be a distraction” in the upcoming election.
“Bro, can’t nobody pay me,” West replied. “I got more money than Trump.”
So I guess this means that Forbes better block both Kanye’s number and Trump’s number because Kanye’s going to be calling them to demand that they make HIM #1 on the list of people richer than Trump while Trump will demand that they make HIM #1 on the list of people richer than Kanye.
