Corey Feldman Is Suing WE tv For The Emotional Abuse He Says He Suffered While Doing “Marriage Boot Camp”

Corey Feldman was on Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition last year, and while on the show, he opened up about his tragic childhood and the abuse he suffered, which led to his struggles with drug addiction. Well, The Blast says that Corey doesn’t like what he saw on the show and is suing a bitch for taking advantage of his issues and creating “childhood emotional trauma porn”  to capitalize on the tragedies and mental health issues of the people on the show. I’m pretty sure that the motto of every reality shit show is to “capitalize on the tragedies an mental health issues of the people on the show” and to give the world more “trauma porn.” Just ask Tyra Banks.

Corey is suing for “severe emotional trauma” and has accused WE tv and Think Factory Media of presenting “falsified information to the public” to paint him as a “liar.” Since Corey is a huge anti-pedo advocate and is fighting to end statutes of limitations on child abuse, he said the broadcast has been very damaging to him. In the documents, he claimed he and his family were held “hostage under duress in a location unknown to them, causing severe emotional trauma.”

“The show was initially “sold” to Mr. Feldman on the premises of being able, through guidance from licensed medical professionals, to help heal the tumultuous relationship Mr. Feldman had with his brother Eden over the years. Instead, of healing this brotherly relationship the (show) instead created questions and exercises that would focus and would reveal past sexual assaults on the celebrities and how such sexual trauma affected them and their lives.”

Corey accused WE tv of glamorizing the abuse:

“Intentionally included and uprooted emotional trauma from the childhoods of their “celebrity participants,” almost glamorizing the abuse by making light of it, and forcing the trauma survivor to forcibly discuss life-altering traumatic episodes for the mere purpose of sensationalization and ratings.”

The lawsuit continued:

“The harm caused by the Defendants’ breaches, fraud, and false promises have caused severe emotional trauma to Mr. Feldman. Such conduct has caused Mr. Feldman ongoing feelings of helplessness and suffering, which were reignited after decades of lying dormant due to successful therapy.”

And since it was a Family Edition of Marriage Boot Camp, Corey’s wife and brother claim the experience was fucked up for them too. Corey’s entire season of Marriage Boot Camp has already aired, but he said the clips that exist online still impact him and affect his “reputation and credibility.”

In the filing, the actor points out that highlights from his season of the show are still being promoted online including scenes with him and Aaron Carter. He claims the videos, “continue to negatively impact Mr. Feldman’s reputation, credibility and causing him emotional anguish.”

Following her suicide attempt, Tamar Braxton also accused WE tv of exploiting her and causing her emotional pain.

If Corey ends up settling with WE tv or winning his lawsuit, then Dr. Phil should just go ahead and get his bankrupcy papers together, because all of the many, many, many people he’s exploited for ratings over the years are going to come for him!
