Open Post: Hosted By Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Little Remix of WAP

August 30, 2020 / Posted by:

Andrew Lloyd Webber has more money than God, not to mention every award imaginable––he’s one of 15 EGOTs. He is one of the most successful composers in history, responsible for dozens of huge Broadway musicals, including Cats, Evita and Jesus Christ Superstar. And even HE couldn’t turn Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’sWAP” into anything better than the original.

For some reason, The Lord Lloyd-Webber has a TikTok account, and last week, he tried cashing in on the “older people react to WAP” craze by giving it a little “Phantom of the WAPera” treatment. In the clip, ALW starts off by doing a cute little pepaw finger dance, which made me think he was going to drop to the floor and hump along to WAP. But sadly, that didn’t happen and instead, the video cuts to the musical impresario sitting behind a piano where he proceeds to interpolate his iconic score to “Phantom of the Opera.”

According to reactions gathered from WOW Report, the reviews of ALW having a little WAP fun were mostly mixed, but some (Patti LuPone, is that you?) are NOT having this remix and immediately called for the cancellation of TikTok (no complaints from me).

The clip has received over 270,000+ likes in 2 days, but something tells me that this still isn’t going to be one of the shining jewels in The Lord Lloyd-Webber’s crown. But well, this isn’t the first time that ALW has ruined pussy for some.
